Elon Musk's nerd army stormed into the Department of Education on Tuesday and saved over $900 million.

Musk's DOGE lieutenants Akash Bobba and Ethan Shaotran, both 22, already have access to the department, NBC News reported.

And as many as 16 DOGE team members have entered the premises as the agency begins to be ripped apart.

Rep. Melanie Stansbury, (D-NM) described the terror agency staff are feeling after Musk's team entered to 'actively dismantle' the institution.

Over 29 training grants for DEI have been eliminated saving $101 million, according to the DOGE X account.

Rep. Maxine Waters of California demanded the individual blocking her access to reveal his name, but he refused.

The White House on Tuesday reacted to Waters' aggressive behavior, calling her 'annoying AF.'

'We are engaged in a multifaceted struggle to protect and defend everyday Americans from the harm being inflicted by this administration,' Jeffries wrote in a letter announcing the group.

Featherbedding - Wikipedia
Featherbedding is the practice of hiring more workers than are needed to perform a given job, or to adopt work procedures which appear pointless, complex and time-consuming merely to employ additional workers. The term "make-work" is sometimes used as a synonym for featherbedding.

Political patronage legal definition of Political patronage

Patronage is the practice of filling government positions with political supporters of the winning candidate. Learn about the origins, benefits, and drawbacks of patronage in U.S. history and law.

Featherbedding is also a means of getting promotions. In a government hierarchy the span of supervision is often 2-5 subordinates, as opposed to 5-10 in the private sector. As a result, hiring extra workers justifies more "management" all the way up the line.

I cannot wait until red states lose 100s of millions in subsidies from Blue states.

I dont think ordinary Americans in red states are going to miss not having trannies in the teachers lounge
Such a small hands boi.

I’m sure they will love 33% less education money, less grain sales for farmers, less dairy sales and the effects of trade wars.

You didn’t live in the Gilded Age, but I’m going to love that you will experience Shitlers! version of it.

You fuckups sit in your hom s thinking that if I just kept all my paycheck our country would be so much better for it.

You vote for billionaires to keep all their grift while believing that “others” hold white a Merica back.

You love Pottersville.

Money is not the issue in education

As trump points out America spends more per student than any other country

Yet we stand 40th in results

When a nation is in decline it denies it is happening as they transfer their wealth to the uprising nation. The same things with states. Progs are transferring their wealth to uprising red states as they depend on the federal level to keep them afloat.

I know Florida spends very little, comparatively, on edumucashun per student. I think we're at the bottom of the list. If not, we're very near it. Right there with Utah

But yet, we have the best educational system in the Country. Easily. None of the big-spending States even get close. Well, the Peoples Republic of Taxachussetts does but that's all they do. It's the only thing they got. And they spend a freaking fortune

Somebody wanna 'splain that to me?

And lookee here!!!

The two States that spend the least are the highest ranked!!!

And I don't wanna hear any racist bullshit from leftists..... Florida is the 12th ranked state in Black Population at 18%. The Peoples Republic comes in at 27th.

Anybody?

Close the Department of Education.

Vaporize it

Eliminate it TOTALLY

Make it ILLEGAL to even discuss a Federal Department of Education
I think Congress has to abolish it as Congress authorized it. The House Education Committee is presumably debating it and will no doubt soon take a recommendation to the full House. They are also debating keeping the very few valid functions of the Dept of Education like special ed that could be spun off to other areas to manage.

The Democrats of course are going batsh*t crazy that anything might be changed at the Dept. of Education that is charged with 'ensuring all students get a quality of education.' They ignore that since the Dept. of Education was initiated in the late 1970's, education in American has dropped from #1 in the world to something like #30.

So what quality of education can the Dept. of Education legitimately claim?

I'm not 100% against a Department of Education but when you spend multi billions of dollars over a long time and our place in the world for education drops significantly, then you have very obviously flushed money down the toilet and got nothing in return for it.

Money is everything in education.

And second, that is a lie as all European states spend more.

We stand at whatever you claim because education is indoctrinating our youth and includes colored people!!!

White bois of patriotic belief should avoid education right, fuckup.

It is if you're a Teacher and you're in on the grift. "Education'' in this Country is THE biggest grift that is going on.

Somebody tell me why it requires a 4-year degree, and mountains of debt, to teach the 2nd Grade. Go ahead. Tell us.

I know, do you??

I know a Teacher in Ohio making 6 figures and she does next to nothing all day. And gets 3 Months off. And a butt-load of vacation days. And Teacher days (whatever they are) and every holiday (Federal AND State) known to man.

A great many people coming to Florida to buy 2nd Homes are Teachers. That ain't exactly lower-income, folks.

Germany ends the school day before lunch. They send the kids home before lunch.

Our educational system is a giant grift.

I do not believe that is factually correct. Congress funds it but they also fund research on rubber duckies.
