Mr. Trump needs to assemble a small team of bright people like Vivek and Musk to find the best tectonic plate experts and try to figure out where Greenland is going to go. By my analysis, Greenland should move WNW for another 10 million plus years. If it does that, and we build military bases on Greenland on what is now land not iced over, the ice will continue to grow and will eventually bury those bases.
If there is real reason to believe the growth of the Arctic Ocean is a stronger tectonic force south than the Atlantic is NW, and hence Greenland will move away from the North Pole, then we have a chance to salvage the southern tip completely, since the Vikings were farming there 700 years ago, before it got iced over....
