The problem with your theory is that it requires there to be enough surplus oil being produced to replace the oil Russia is producing. Russia exported almost 7 million barrels a day. SA produces about 9.5 million barrels a day. Is there a SA level producer that’s just untapped that’s going to replace the Russian production? Is the world going to reduce their consumption by 8 million barrels a day? If not the market for that oil will continue to exist.

You can describe combat a lot of ways but I have never heard anyone describe it as “nine barrels shooting”
