If trump is elected he's going to have RFK Jr. "go wild" on the US healthcare system.

Trump says he would let RFK Jr. 'go wild on medicines'

For the most part, Donald Trump has been mum on who he’d appoint to his administration if he wins.
But he has made one pretty clear promise: Trump has said he’ll let conspiracy theorist and vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “go wild” on health, food, and drug regulation. That could have massive consequences for public health and vaccine policy in America. If Kennedy were to completely get his way and deter vaccination, vaccine-preventable diseases like measles and polio could make a comeback.

Trump really could empower RFK Jr. to wreck public health

Elon Musk, trump's future budget czar, says the country needs to brace for hardship, a metaphor for the economy needing to be crashed.

Elon Musk asks voters to brace for economic 'hardship,' deep spending cuts in potential Trump Cabinet role

“We have to reduce spending to live within our means,” Musk said. “And, you know, that necessarily involves some temporary hardship, but it will ensure long-term prosperity.”

Many economists agree that Trump’s economic and fiscal proposals could spark an economic calamity, though it is not clear whether they have considered, or given credence, to Musk’s calls for austerity.

Trump suggests he’ll use the military on ‘the enemy from within’ the U.S. if he’s reelected
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politi...he-enemy-from-within-the-u-s-if-hes-reelected

During his first term as president, Donald Trump tested the limits of how he could use the military to achieve policy goals. If given a second term, the Republican and his allies are preparing to go much further, reimagining the military as an all-powerful tool to deploy on U.S. soil.

He has pledged to recall thousands of American troops from overseas and station them at the U.S. border with Mexico. He has explored using troops for domestic policy priorities such as deportations and confronting civil unrest. He has talked of weeding out military officers who are ideologically opposed to him.

Trump’s vision amounts to a potentially dramatic shift in the role of the military in U.S. society, carrying grave implications for both the country’s place in the world and the restraints that have traditionally been placed on domestic use of the military.

I find all this to be suboptimal. For trump supporters, it seems they have a choice to make. Vote for what he has promised, or believe he's lying about it.

Begging the question, if he's lying, if he doesn't plan on doing the things he says he is, what is his motivation for saying them?

Can trump supporters see why some Americans reject his vision for the next 4 years?

Fools close their eyes and pretend we can just keep piling on debt forever with no negative consequences. Politicians hope they can retire before being blamed for the coming crash. Harris has no plan to soften the inevitable crash and doesn't even want to address it (I don't think she has the mental capacity to even realize it's coming).

Trump always uses lazy exaggeration. Biden does it too.

He basically means "he will help transform" but he uses loose language

I guess the OP prefers four more years of paying for a war we have no vested interest in, inflation, and open borders.....Is it any wonder I consider his type to be evil?
He has to support the current course because Kamala (what have I been doing for 4 years?) Harris doesn't have anything she would change from how Quid Pro Joe is doing it.

Since Dr. Fau-Chi gave the Wuhan Lab money to research bat viruses and Gain-of-Function creating the Covid pandemic, if Kennedy stops further germ warfare research, that would be a very good thing. FYI, the Wuhan Lab is run by a Chinese general, just sayin'.

Don't forget Amnesty for all the illegals here already, and the subsequent promise of another one a decade from now that entails.

(1). There is no harm whatsoever in taking a second look at the FDA and how it functions. Like all government bureaucracies it is "out of control," and needs to be redirected to be more efficacious. This would be a good thing.

(2). Much of the Federal government's spending is both unwise and unconstitutional, not to mention wasteful. With today's horrific deficits and Congress unwilling to stop trying to buy votes with our money, many programs that exist now - are thriving, in fact - must be either dramatically scaled back or eliminated altogether (e.g., the Department of Education). This will cause hardship for those who have built their lives around getting these government freebies, and if seriously implemented (which Elon would at least try to do), would result in a short-term recession. But working people would barely notice it.

(3). "Policing" is not a Federal function, but the President can set a tone in Washington that reverses the recent trends of minimal enforcement of "petty" crimes and non-cash bonds.

(4). While the First Amendment will always be there, something should and could be done about today's Leftist journalists and publications that overtly lie to the public, trying to generate outrage and antagonism through their distortions and fabrications. It is not clear how this might happen, but Trump will certainly try to attack this problem in some conspicuous way. Is this a bad thing?

(5). There are limits to the use that the Armed Forces can be deployed for domestically. Maybe it's time to explore those limits. On the border, especially, it is unacceptable to see hordes of illegals storming the borders and our border "police" not having anywhere near the necessary resources to stop it. Trump is right about this.

As always, the Left takes Trump literally, but not seriously. With an AG like Bill Barr, Trump will have top notch advice on what he can do under his Constitutional mandate. Leftists have no such constraints or concerns, which is how Biden can flout laws and USSC decisions that he doesn't like.

Personally, I think that one was Musk going rogue. trump understands how unpopular with everyone the kind of austerity needed to address the budget deficit and national debt would be. He wants to be loved.

Besides, he promised once before he would eliminate the debt.

Trump: I will eliminate U.S. debt in 8 years

Let's just say it didn't go according to plan.

I'd be okay with reviewing how any agency functions. But the person doing the reviewing, in this case, is a nutty, anti-vax, conspiracy theorist who says part of his brain was eaten.

Her supporters even less. The Democratic electorate is brainwashed and lost. It’s sad to see so much of our country falling for the propaganda.

He's a natural authoritarian. His flock wants to be led by a strongman. Perfect match.

This time around, he'll be surrounded exclusively by obedient loyalists and powerful oligarchs.

As I always say, the world has seen it before.

He tried to do it by boosting the economy, but Congress will always just spend more. It will require backbone and being willing to serve one term by both the White House and Congress to avert or cushion the inevitable crash, and I don't see that happening. All I see are politicians promising to hurry it up and make it extremely painful.
