Bingo. Shallow, indeed. We've become a celebrity-driven society, and we've lost all sense of standards. If we see a person on teevee, they're special.

I watch essentially zero of the standard network teevee, but I know how popular all the reality shows are, and a I know that those people are instant celebrities. Fer ****'s sake, look at the Kardashians. I have no doubt that it played a role in this disaster. Even the producers of Trump's show have apologized for making him into something he wasn't.

I'm also worried with what he'll do to this economy. He caused an extended manufacturing recession in 2019 with his igorant tariffs, and he won't have trillions in stimulus from the Fed this time around.

What a cancer.
