Then arrest them.
Shooting them is easier, and in a leftist bastion, like California, the only punishment they will receive.

That's the thing about official corruption. Eventually the people figure out that they are on their own when it comes to their personal defense.

When that happens the only punishment they have available is to kill their tormenters. They don't have jails available to them. So they do what they have to.

Shooting a rock thrower, or three, would simply escalate the problem. The rock throwers would show up with guns the next time. "Aim for the mask!"
It is time to arrest and charge politicians with sedition and treason. If the ICE officers need a machine gun if it get that bad, then bring it. These men and women are waving foreign flags and are not protesters. They can intermix American flags all they want as they were told to do so from their handlers. I am not for police abuse. This nation needs to survive as a national country, or we will get impoverished. So many people do not understand that.

Then you need to find some shooters because ICE agents to a man aren't going to do that.

Circumstances vary.
1. For disbursing large crowds the V-MADS system shown in post #35 looks good
2. For close rock throwers like I show in the OP video I have no problem with ICE shooting them.
3. I disagree with "backup, tactics, and restraint". Rioters now ambush ICE agents. The escalation already started, its time to establish "law and order".
4. Peaceful demonstrations get respect, violence gets stopped not tolerated.
Strong borders demand strong discipline—not just from those crossing them, but from those defending them. Research. consistently shows that when law enforcement uses lethal force in crowd scenarios, it tends to escalate tensions and provoke wider unrest, not restore order. That’s why top agencies invest in de-escalation training and less-lethal tools—not out of softness, but strategy. The cartels would love nothing more than to see us turn our own cities into warzones. Let’s not do their job for them.

The rioters are working for the cartels.

**** 'em. They chose their side.
Cartels don’t care if you shoot a protester—they’d love that. Chaos helps their business. We protect this country by being better than the enemy, not by copying their playbook. If someone’s breaking the law, arrest them. But if we let rage replace discipline, we’re doing the cartels’ job for them.

I was outraged that ICE did not shoot protesters throwing rocks at their vehicles at close range as seen in the video.
Obviously a case of "self-defense".
I'm also outraged that the vehicles that taxpayers paid for are being severely damaged.

Trump wants them arrested. Fine. But throwing rocks or shooting fireworks should not be tolerated. We know that many protesters are armed and love to ambush ICE agents.
If a person gets a rock and throws it at you and you shoot them that is self defense. Self defense should apply to everyone, including law enforcement.

If you saw the OP video that was attempted murder, those ICE agents should have shot them in self-defense.

Not insurrection, attempted murder, then send them to CECOT.

No bail for attempted murder, plus they are flight risks.

He gets to live with the consequences of his actions.
“Live” is the key word there

If they deserve to die I will pull the trigger

But only as a last resort

You're damn right. Rocks are a deadly weapon. They kill people easily, especially the size these Cholos are throwing. It's attempted murder and it should be responded to in kind.

Don't believe me? Volunteer for target practice as the target and let us know how it works out for you.

Crepitus So you agree. Glad we cleared that up.

1. The border looks to be solved, zero entries last month, so Trump wants to spend $46b to build more wall

2. You can point to lethal force in crowds, I can point to the recent ambush in TX where an ICE agent was shot in the neck while 10 "rioters" were doing distractions. I like "overwatch" to snuff any rioters with guns, or rocks, or fireworks.

3. Why are the cartels still in existence? We need B-2s ending their existence.
