Obviously a case of "self-defense".

2. You can point to lethal force in crowds, I can point to the recent ambush in TX where an ICE agent was shot in the neck while 10 "rioters" were doing distractions. I like "overwatch" to snuff any rioters with guns, or rocks, or fireworks.

Pegging rocks from a distance is one thing, coming up to the vehicle and hurling a fist sized rock directly at the driver, albeit through the glass, is attempted murder: great bodily harm at a minimum.
