Should deported veterans be allowed to return to US?

Yes,
Biden is an idiot to give blanket amnesty to any group of illegal aliens. What if they were rapists, drug dealers, smugglers, murderers or treasonists to name a few of their most popular occupations? I don't even care if the illegal alien was an Obama caliber Nobel contender. We all know that didn't take any talent or effort.
Those would be the Russians Trump let in.
Oh, brother. Here we go again. :rolleyes-41:

Criminals are criminals as far as I'm concerned. The commies are trying to use any excuse possible to get these third-worlders into this country.

As opposed to white criminals, which you are fine with...

Sorry, man, the point is, people make mistakes. Even veterans.

You shouldn't be punished for the rest of your life for a mistake.

I mentioned my neighbor who got tagged for a DUI and got deported. His wife was a US citizen and he had two kids. How was his inability to provide for his family helping the country, exactly?

(He eventually came back under a marriage visa, but not before the Trump ICE tried to claim his wife wasn't a citizen because a midwife signed off on her birth certificate in the 1970's. )

Deported veterans typically enlisted in the U.S. military as green card holders and later found themselves in deportation proceedings after being convicted of certain crimes — including non-violent ones — that render immigrants deportable under U.S. immigration law.

Once deported, immigrants can be banished from the U.S. for three or ten years, even if they served in the military.

well that is dirty. They and their family should be allowed to return.

As far as I'm concerned, if you are deported for jay walking, you should never be allowed back into this country again, and I don't care if you served or not.

Except if you read the article Welfare Ray posted, he isn't giving a blanket amnesty, he's creating a process.

So if you got deported after serving time for rape or murder, um, yeah, you aren't going to get back in.

If you got deported for a DUI (something that actually happened to a neighbor of mine) then, yes, you are probalby going to get back in.
It sounds like the process Kamala worked so hard on to bring our border under control. Process in this instance is any scam whereby you can import more probable Democrat voters.

The Biden administration on Friday announced it is formalizing a new process to allow immigrants who served in the U.S. military and were later deported to return to the country legally.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas ordered the nation's immigration agencies to craft a "rigorous, systematic approach" to review the cases of immigrants whose deportations "failed to live up to our highest values."

"Together with our partner the Department of Veterans Affairs, we are committed to bringing back military service members, veterans, and their immediate family members who were unjustly removed and ensuring they receive the benefits to which they may be entitled," Mayorkas said in a statement. "Today we are taking important steps to make that a reality."

So not only did these people illegally get into the country, they also illegally got into our military as well. Not only does Dementia want to bring them back into the country, but restore all their military benefits.

I'm all behind our veterans and any benefits they can get, but I'm against veterans who weren't supposed to be here in the first place. The people they deport are usually illegals that got involved in some sort of criminal activity, and shouldn't be getting a free pass simply because also illegally served.

illegals or any immigrant are not native born Americans and should be held to different standards. Getting plowed up and driving a car is not a mistake, it's intentional. You knew you were breaking the law right from the beginning.

I don't drink anything when I go out. When I drive, I'm totally sober. It's not that hard, and if I do drink and get a DUI, it was not a mistake by any stretch of the imagination.

Illegals can't enlist.. Green card holders can.

Read the OP. It says "typically" meaning not all of them. About five years ago we passed a law that all illegals that had a CDL (truck driving license) will have them revoked in our state. The illegals had a shit fit over that. How did they get a CDL and even with a Haz-mat endorsement while illegally here? CDL applicants are thoroughly checked out by our government agencies since 911.

Dumbass. Trump got a higher percentage of Hispanic votes in 2020 than he did in 2016.
That's because we had a better education system for four years under Trump. And it's pretty absurd for someone like you to call anyone a dumbass while using skank Omar's picture as your hero.

I don't see how we have that many illegals that served in the military. In order to get in you had to have a lot of paperwork, like a birth certificate, SS Card, HS Diploma, and all sorts of shit. How did ILLEGALS get in in the first place? I never met one. I did 12 years in the military in one function or another, and I can not recall a single person who could have been illegal, unless they were the "DACA" sort dragged across the border as youths.

In that case, fuck it. If they did a combat deployment, give them a break.

I am behind all veterans who potentially put their lives on the line for this country. I don't play politics like you. If vthey qualify for benefits then they should get them.

You want 6to play politics. That simply is not true. Many were deported even though they had committed no crime. Tqake your shit and shove it up your ass. Real Americans support this. Seditionists don't.

Should people who can't spell 'deported' be deported?

Yes, all deported servicemen should be returned, given medals, and paraded in front of Mara Lago.

Thanks for catching the typo my computer didn't. So what you're saying is that if somebody wants to get into this country without going through the proper channels like the legal immigrants did, simply join our military and you get a free pass? How is that fair to the immigrants who had to wait in line for over a decade to be in this country?

If they put their life on the line for this country then they should. This is a no-brainer.

Somehow I don't imagine anyone inviting you out for a drink...You're crazy enough when you are sober.

So in other words they served this country when cowards who claim they are so Patriotic wouldn't.

The deported military veterans joined the military illegally. Leave them deported.
How do you illegally join the military?

No, intelligent people choose not to break the law by jaywalking. And nobody gets killed that way.

As always, Democrats have a real problem with people accepting and assuming the obligations and restrictions that they AGREE TO when they sign contracts - if those terms later become inconvenient.

This is why, for example, they favor college loan forgiveness. It is why they favor granting UBER derivers employee status, even though those drivers sign a pile of documents wherein they accept their non-employee status, emphatically. The examples are too numerous to count.

Foreigners who enlist in the United States Armed Forces are told in no uncertain terms that their enlistment and service WILL NOT entitle them to either permanent residency status or citizenship, after their enlistment ends. They sign up because the pay and benefits of being an U.S. serviceman is the best option they have at that time in their lives.

But many of them ignore what they have agreed to after they leave the military service, and seek to remain in the U.S., illegally, because that is more convenient than going back to their shit-hole home countries.

Donald Trump, being literate, understood what was going on and sought to remove such veterans, since they ALL AGREED to leave the country when their enlistment was up.

Squinty Joe is fully committed to the Democrat program of getting as many government-dependent foreigners onto American voting rolls as quickly as possible, in order to secure national elections for Democrats for the foreseeable future.

Get this picture? To democrats, them contracts don't mean shit, when compared to the initiative to pollute the future voter rolls with government-dependents.

The only picture that I see is that you are a thoughtless jerk.

The real problem we have is Republicans throwing Americans under the bus. At least a partial loan forgiveness makes sense economically. UBER employees have few options when dealing with a large corporation that is getting rich off these employees without accepting any r4esponsibility. They have continued to lie and defraud their employees.

Donald Trump is too stupid to know anything. He is a white nationalist and nothing more.

, Whether they understood anything or not they should be first in line for citizenship or remaining in the US. Biden is right in developing guidelines for these people to return to the US or remain. You don't like it because they are not white.
