I do think there should be at least limited liability for pharmaceutical companies, else they would not be able to manufacture any kinds of drugs without risk of bankrupting lawsuits/class action suits re everything as there is no such thing as a 100% safe medicine or vaccine. All the drug companies have immunity from liability from vax damage, while claiming all vaccines are “safe and effective”.
Congress should hold ALL COMPANIES LIABLE FOR THE DAMAGE THEIR PRODUCTS CAUSE….FROM CIGARETTES TO WEED TO CARS TO AIRPLANES TO DRUGS.
It should be enough that the companies inform the public that there are reported serious, even possibly deadly side effects in rare instances with the medication or vaccine and to read all the material and consult their physician before using it. Known common side effects should be clearly shown on the product. For instance, taking more than 4000 mg acetaminophen (Tylenol) per day will cause severe liver damage, taking certain medications will raise blood pressure, etc. And then a person takes it at their own risk.
And the people should also be informed of the good effects of a particular drug and the odds of consequences of not taking it if they need it. (Examples: blood pressure medication, insulin, etc.)
However, if a company determines there is a serious side effect to their product and conceals that from the public, they should be liable to the fullest.
