The biggest drug busts around the United States
Garnett Smith, also known as Mr. Big, is one of the largest cocaine and heroin dealers to be prosecuted in Baltimore in recent history, prosecutors wrote to a judge ahead of Smith's sentencing. That judge sent Mr. Big to prison for 25 years.

"Smith will now spend the prime of his life in prison and will not be eligible for parole until he is a senior citizen," said Gary Tuggle, the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration's Baltimore office.

The judge also handed $6.7 million of his assets over to the federal government, which now finds itself the proud owner of a condo in a downtown Baltimore tower, $1.6 million in jewelry, and cars including a Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and a Maybach.

Dealers making that kind of money don't worry about going to jail. I don't think it would affect the trade at all.

If there is supposed to be a war on drugs, then it fails just like the war on poverty. If you want to win a war, you blow up the people who are trying to cross the border in a car or boat. If they try to fly it over the border you shoot them down. No survivors. When it becomes very hard to bring drugs into this country, the price will necessarily skyrocket.

Good idea less drugs higher price.
Good idea less drugs, with higher price.

Drug deals would not be raking in such huge amounts of money is they didn't have BUYERS!

Legalize ALL popular drugs, tax them to high heaven, and use the money for medical intervention and rehabilitation.

Watch how quickly the dealers disappear.
