For me the answer is an obvious NO. Until a child becomes eighteen they shouldn't be in charge of what they do to their own bodies. Whether it be puberty blockers or tattoos.

Depends. Do the parents have tattoos? After all, parents are the role models for their children. I was 9 or 10 when I saw my (divorced) dad plant a big kiss on his girlfriend. I was excited and knew that I would follow his example someday.

I can't find the pics of kids wearing this but I remember they specifically started marketing whale tails to minors. That was hit. Never heard from them again. Do they still sell them?

Oh that explains a lot. I saw a waitress wearing one (not ours) at the restaurant my guy and I went to last night and we were both little kids in this 90's so we wouldn't remember the style.

and it would require that the kid agree to get a sex change operation.

My son and daughter-in-law both have tattoos. My 15-year-old granddaughter doesn't even have pierced ears.
