The reason these people are hard to dislodge is MONEY and FPTP leads to people buying seats with MONEY.

PR stops that because you have to appeal to THE WHOLE COUNTRY, not just one small section of it.

I know the democrats are trying to convince people that the electoral system especially the college needs to be redone. But the only reason for that is they want it setup to favor them. They are against term limits because it would decrease the power they could weld. I do not favor either party. I would love to see us get rid of both but that will never happen and I am not about to give either more power then the other.

It's hysterical to think it's the electoral system.

1. It's money. The guy who can promise the world and get the big donars wins.
2. We treat candidates like crap. Who would want to go through that? Seriously. I remember, back when I liked Colin Powell, we were hoping he'd run for office. His wife was treated for depression and he said "No way.". The only people who run are the ones who can put up with that garbage because their ego's won't let it get to them.

The current stable on the left is a bunch of nags that need to be put down.

Um, by "set up to favor us" you mean, "There are more of us and we'd win the popular vote under most circumstances."

The electoral college is awful for a whole host of reasons. It's anti (small d) democratic.
It favors a few states instead of the country as a whole

As for term limits, I am against them. We have term limits. They're called "Elections". I would be in favor of age limits, so that no one over 70 can serve in a federal office. With Biden and Trump, we are seeing the danger of someone who is too old to serve continuing to serve

DO I really need to say it again? you can look up what they do. It could also be considered sick for the world to allow that to continue.. Those civilians are not combatants.. so to take out such people could be considered a mercy.

In the case of IRAN"s leadership we consider them combatants.

Look at a list of bad countries.

Iran is like 10th in the world. Saudi Arabia is also a pretty bad country. But Trump goes there and sucks up to them.

Come on, look at the facts and see the reality.

It's all about OIL.

OPEC countries that didn't like the US in 2001.

Iran - leader killed in 2026
Venezuela - leader deposed in 2002 (for a week), leader kidnapped in 2026
Iraq - Invasion in 2003 leader killed, puppet government installed.
Libya - bombed in 2011 leader killed, country left to rot.

Do you see the pattern here? Three different presidents from both parties (3-1 Republican), same result, same goals.
