She lied and now will be convicted

I was reviewing the unfair sentence, today of Tina Peters whose supposed crime was she denied Trump lost and of course the Democrats prosecuted her. Trump pardoned her but she is in prison since the state prosecuted her and he can't pardon state crimes.

Now, this led me to another case. This one.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released additional evidence it says confirms that a staffer for Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, lied about being an attorney for detainees at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in an effort to meet with them and sneak in smuggled cell phones.

One doesn’t have anything to do with the other. Messing with an election is orders of magnitude worse than paperwork issues.
