And the assault on citizens by criminals is Largely Ignored by the political class in America who all have their own private security. It's why they are not tough on crime.. and see criminals as the victims.

As long as they are going soft on crime, you cant take away people's right to self defense. The guy that shot those women was a mental case, but the vast majority of shootings done today are in the large cities and their suburbs where its either about a drug deal, who's street corner belongs to who, or people who decide that what someone else owns should belong to them, and they're gonna take it.
