We all remember New Orleans mayor Ray Nagan blaming the Bush administration for his failure to evacuate citizens during Katrina. Atlanta mayor Kasim Reid seemed confused when a fast moving winter storm was forecasted to hit Atlanta. He failed to send school kids home or government workers home early or beef up the highway department preparations. Five people were killed and kids had to spend the night in school while frantic parents were helpless. Of course nobody in the mainstream (or fair and balanced) media dares to criticize a Black democrat politician so he gets to tell his constituents how well he will do in the next emergency.
