If the 2A supporters agreed to use tax payer money to have every single firearm manufactured attend an extensive and comprehensive mental health evaluation (including training firearms on the value of human life), would you then agree to allow all citizens to own any type of firearm they desire - without restriction?

I would agree to a such a program. We must get these firearms evaluated and get the dangerous firearms the help they need.

My question is, what about the bullets? Don't they need similar evaluations?

Look, firearms are not entitled to constitutional protections. If we want to force firearms to have a mental health evaluation, we can do it and firearms would have no constitutional challenges.

Here's a better idea. Instead of registering guns, we register gun buyers. Once you pass a background check, you can buy as many guns as you like, or not buy any guns. You'll be on the approved list. Your purchases will be your business, not the government's.

You go to a gun shop, the gun shop owner sees if you are a registered approved buyer, and then only he and you know what guns you bought.

I have noticed that .22 cals are less temperamental than 9mms. Surprisingly, .50 cals are the least temperamental. I don't think a single .50 cal has committed a single gun crime, much less committed murder. That's a pretty good record.

Reduced homicide rates cannot be directly tied to less gun freedom, only correlation. There are many other factors for which such statics must account, but saying that will cause your SJW ass to start crying "racism."
