Senate approves TSA funding.

Appears they will get paid. House now has to approve. It only covers paying the TSA and Homeland so I imagine it will.

This could have been done a couple weeks ago.

Senate approves funding for TSA and most of Homeland Security, but not immigration enforcement

It would have been cool to have all employee's quit but.............
No SAVE Act? I see where this is going..

Trump has said he wouldn’t sign anything until the SAVE act is passed, so the question is whether he’ll veto it or TACO.

Looks like Trump lost this standoff. Now he can either veto TSA's clean bill or sign it and be a.......

The article reads as he will sign it. Granted, he may have a little fit before then.

They smile in your face...the backstabbers! We seen this act before. Over and over and over. This is why the deep state turned Jan. 6 into an insurrection. Just in case any citizens though of organizing what reality is and not the radical insurrections we see in the streets.

I see it as more of a Pyrrhic Victory for the vile dems.
Air travelers will remember this come November.....And you can count those in their millions.

Every day, FAA's Air Traffic Organization (ATO) provides service to more than 44,000 flights and more than 3 million airline passengers across more than 29 million square miles of airspace.

IM laughing all the way to the bank as my AI and oil stocks make lots of money

You go to the bank for your stock trades?

I do them online?

Careful laughing all the way to the bank, it might make you drive poorly. You do not laugh on your way back home? 🤷‍♂️😉

So looks like they ended it without getting any of their change in procedure demands. ICE gets no new funding, but it is already funded for a few more years from a previous bill.

Senate approves deal to end DHS shutdown without Democratic immigration demands

Senators approved a compromise measure early Friday to fund most of the Department of Homeland Security through the end of September, taking a major step toward ending the 42-day partial shutdown that has seen hundreds of airport security workers quit after missing paychecks and snarled travel nationwide.

The agreement, passed by voice vote before senators departed Washington for a two-week recess for Easter and Passover, will be considered by the House later Friday morning.

The last-ditch deal does not include any of the demands Democrats have placed on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — including that agents be barred from wearing masks and operate under tougher warrant requirements to detain illegal migrants.

The bill does not provide funding for ICE or Border Patrol, but those subagencies already received billions of dollars under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act signed into law by President Trump this past July and immigration enforcement has gone on uninterrupted by the shutdown.

I am one who is glad to see I.C.E. is funded for the next few years as the article states. I am not saying there are not a few bad apples in the organization because there always is in any group but in general, they are protecting us and legal immigrants from the criminal element that preys on legal and illegal immigrants alike.
