Your commentary is right on the money. Schiff probably also knows that the Department of Justice's report found no clear evidence that banning assault weapons like the AR-15 reduced overall crime.

Yeah, he's pandering, and fund raising. We should also remind all that Adam Schiff doesn't care if he infringes on the rights of American citizens.
