Second amendment, should felons be allowed to own guns?

If there are businesses opening, the economy is a success. But you act like owning a small business is the only measure of success. In my utility construction career, I worked for a medium to small company, owned my own company, and worked for a major corporation.
What era in America has a major city has none of its residents participate in democracy? And are you saying this should not be addressed?

Do you live in a Republican state with less regulations do you know what a liquor license cost in Massachusetts a half $1 million do you know what it cost down south $5000.. A taxi medallion to pick people up and drop them off in Massachusetts cost $200,000.. It is absolutely ridiculous what Democrats have done to poor people in Boston

When you say "participate in democracy" you somehow translate that to owning your own business? M'kay.

The people of Boston seem to turn out to vote at a reasonable rate. That is participating in democracy.

Do you have links for those comparative costs of liquor licenses?

And anyone who pays for a taxi medallion is a fool. Drive for Uber or Lyft and save yourself $200k.

And you are still focusing solely on being a business owner. There are a lot of high tech businesses in Boston that will provide great employment. Why do you ignore them in favor of owning a food truck?
And they are over regulation uber drivers seems like once a month they add a law..

All I’m
Saying is that Boston used to produce police officers business owners sub shop owners florist restaurant owners.. etc.... if the economy was pointing to high tech 100 years ago it would’ve been a Bostonian on the front lines.. we have nobody.. we are being pushed out by policies that are hurting urban areas. Democrats say the regulations are there to protect us from the rich people but we’re also hit by the regulations.. In the education system is so bad that they actually teach the kids that this is OK rich people are bad regulations are good. It’s sick

You should probably blame your Republican governor...
I would if we had one

Okay, you're just an ignorant fuck.

Your governor, Charlie Baker, is a Republican.

That you say he isn't shows exactly how out of touch with reality you are. A guy sitting in Florida knows more about your state than you do.

I'd call you a worthless piece of shit, but I'm sure worthless pieces of shit would take offense...

Poor people don't get to own businesses. That's why they're poor.

And what are you whining about with your "Republican state" nonsense and your whines about what Democrats have done to your state? You've had a Republican governor for the last five years. Furthermore, as of the end of March, his job approval rating was 80%.

You're off the mark, dumbass.

Oh, and taxi medallions have topped $1,000,000 in New York City in the past...
Lol America was built by poor people who saved capital or used skill to open a business in a free country when we had limited regulations.. facts

Your response does nothing to address the points I made.

You're a failure and you're pissed about it. We get it.

You just think other people should help you be successful. Well, fuck you. I'm perfectly fine with you being a failure for the rest of your pathetic little life...
I don’t want help I want deregulation so I can make my own money.. what are you talking about?

You just said your governor isn't a Republican.

You have nothing more to say that we could possibly want to listen to...

Well then you’re not gonna like America in a few years you might want to move out

I have zero concern that you're going to be leading, or even involved in, some wannabe revolution in Boston or anywhere further than Mom's basement. But, just to be clear, there are plenty of us who will defend the Constitution and the nation from all attackers, domestic or foreign. And that doesn't just mean from AintIFascist or communists but also from pretend right-wing, authoritarians.

There are no provisions in the Constitution that allow any changes in government by violence or threat of violence. It is not possible for any such act to result in a constitutional government. Even if some revolution were to try to put our Constitution in place, they would have no constitutional authority to do so.

The Declaration of Independence talks about some of the conditions, probably not all, which might, and also might not, lead to revolution. We have problems in our nation but we're not even close to the conditions or the long-suffering of conditions, that would lead to a revolution.

Whether defending from left-wing idiot fanatics or right-wing idiot fanatics, whether defending the Obama administration, the Trump administration, the Hillary or the Biden administration, or the future Ted Cruz administration, I defend the United States of America and I will defend it with my life.

I’d like to see Bostonians own some business in Boston some day..

So, you live in Boston, right?

Quit whining like a little bitch and start your own Boston-based business. Get off your dead ass and set an example!

I've been seeing the commercials for the My Pillow guy's new autobiography. Jitss67 should buy and read his book. That's a much better approach for him. The guy is a convicted felon, drug addict, and worth 300+ million dollars. Most all of us make mistakes in life, some of them terrible mistakes that have life-long impacts, and change their ways, take responsibility for their own lives, and turn it around. Others whine on the Internet.

That would require Jitss617 taking responsibility for his own past actions. Instead, he opts to blame others for his failings. Mike Lindell's is a wonderful story of someone hitting rock bottom (and hitting it hard), losing everything, and coming back strong.

Simply put, Jitss607 doesn't have the depth of character it would take to do that...

Lindell is the living proof of what I've been saying for years: poor people are poor because they choose to be poor.
I think that is rather simplistic.
I think Lindell is a great example of someone who really does make it up from the bottom. But most people- poor, middle class or wealthy would likely not be able to do that- he is truly exceptional.
Unexceptional people- born to middle class or wealthy families get opportunities that unexceptional poor people do not.
And over regulation destroys the poor from doing anything

It didn't destroy Mike Lindell. People get out of life what they want. He was at the bottom and is on his way to being a billionaire.. and that's after his felony.

Some people have opportunity "drop in their lap". Over and over again. Not everything goes their way but even after troubles, more opportunity comes their way... Others never seem to get a break, no matter what they do.

Yes, that's the whine of a loser (not saying you but saying those who complain they can't get a break). The reason people get those breaks and opportunities is because they make their own breaks and opportunities. Others don't try or they give up at the first slip and then spend their time whining.

I was raised very poor. I haven't succeeded to Mike Lindell's level but that just means he wanted that more than I did. I've certainly succeeded as much as I want and as much as I was willing to work for. I had to make my own luck. I went from minimum wage to a very high wage. It wasn't overnight. It took a lifetime of working for the next opportunity, educating myself, learning new, marketable, skills, and selling myself to prospective employers and then proving my worth when they hired me.

That's the modern slavery, though, to tell people of color, immigrants, women, homosexuals, and the poor, that they just can't make it on their own; they're just too stupid and can only survive if they hang on to the hands of the Democratic Party and keep the Democrats in power. The contempt with which Democrats hold minorities, immigrants, women, and homosexuals, is shameful.

My reason for saying Jitsie should not be allowed to own a firearm is much simpler.

I truly believe Jitsie is mentally ill. His aggression shows some deep seated issues. But the fact that they are idle threats on a message board shows his own insecurities are off the charts. His constant lying shows a profound need for attention, even if it is bad attention. He would rather be mocked by a dozen people than to be ignored. And his threats aimed at people who challenge him is well documented.

In short, he is psychotic and a borderline sociopath. He would end up like a Mark David Chapman. Murdering someone so he could be famous. But he would do it, like Chapman, from ambush so he would not be threatened himself.

But, in the United States, we punish for crimes committed, not criminal potential. Victims are, unfortunately, a price we pay for liberty. I would bet that North Korea has a far lower murder rate than we do. Given enough authoritarianism, crime can be reduced by government. It's not worth it. There are things more important than life.

I do not agree with Jitsie's 2nd amendment rights being denied. Unless he is diagnosed as a danger to others by a professional, his being a psychotic individual is not grounds for anything. But I do firmly believe he is nuts.

So when a "professional" decides you're a potential criminal, they can strip your rights? What about your doctor who might just be a hoplophobe and reports you to NICS for the risk that you have a gun in the house?

The contempt with which Democrats hold minorities, immigrants, women, and homosexuals, is shameful.
The contempt with which people like you have for minorities, immigrants, women and homosexuals is shameful.

Really- read your own words. Approximately 90% of African American voters are Democrats- you literally are telling African Americans that they are treating African Americans with contempt. Virtually every minority group in America is majority Democrat- and you are literally saying that these minority groups treat themselves with contempt.

As I always point out- the message you are giving to minorities, and immigrants, and women and homosexuals- is that they are all too stupid to know that they shouldn't be voting Democrat.

You are telling African Americans that you know better than they do- that they are too stupid to know how they should vote.

You are telling Latino Americans that you know better than they do- that they are too stupid to know how they should vote.

You are telling women of America- some 56% who vote Democrat- that you know better than they do- that they are too stupid to know how they should vote.

I have seen this over and over from the Republican Party- telling African Americans that they are the new plantation owners keeping the slaves on their plantation. Only the Republicans call them Democrats- because otherwise someone might call the party of white men racist.

The people coming from outside Boston face the same regulations that the people from Boston do. Why do those regulations cripple the locals?
They are coming from place that have higher family units, better education, less foreigners flooding there schools, many are married individuals using savings to open a side business in Boston. They can afford the lawyer you need to cut the red tape, many are group investors of rich kids that can pay for a lawyer to cut the red tape..

While Bostonians struggle. It’s oppressive, and it’s happing and no one is doing anything except for me. I’m a patriot.

I'd say you're a liar but I really believe you're just too stupid to know just how many Bostonians have been successful starting new businesses.

They are, blacks are getting paid to promote racist policies, education, over regulation, housing standards. Etc..
