TSA are not law enforcement.
They are the authorized security workers in airports. It's effectively the same thing.
Well, you and your family are a bunch of pussies. Respect is earned. It does not culminate with a title. Those who blindly follow authority without ever questioning are sheep.
Yes, respect is earned. In the case of LEO's it's earned by going through the academy and putting on that uniform and badge. I have had the great pleasure of knowing more than a handful of LEO's from a wide variety of agencies (local, state, FBI, Border Patrol, Air Marshals, US Marshals, Secret Service, etc....) and they are among the most decent and honorable people I know. They and their brethren get the benefit of the doubt from me at all times.
If you have a problem with an officer, the right thing to do is to follow their orders and to make a formal complaint afterwards. Most people feel that there aren't too many things in this world which are worth getting yourself shot over.
[Interesting. Maybe you should change your name to Analchonism. Just a thought.
If that's the sort of thoughts you have, welcome to my Ignore List.
