You're out of your mind.

He was amazing in "Mystic River"; so much that he ended up with an Oscar.

But, I get it. He's a liberal so you hate him and, since you hate him, he can't possibly be good at anything...
Sean Penn takes himself too seriously. Living a Capitalist life while promoting a pure Socialist life for everyone else. He won Oscars. Peter O'Toole was nominated many times and never won one. His role in "My Favorite Year" was better than anything Penn did. And he may have been a liberal.

So you believe that by "not great," what was meant was "shitty?"

But yeah, he's a colossal doosh & jackass.

Sure he is. Politically speaking, he's a complete asshole.

But he's a great actor. Idiots who are blinded by partisan loyalty simply can't see that...

He was good in Bad Boys.

Basically, whenever he plays a jackass/aggressive jackass, he's good. :)

Never great.

Does anyone care how Sean Penn feels? Apparently he didn't give a damn when his own brother Chris was literally pointing a gun at his head with drug abuse when he died at 40?

Why is it that when someone makes a lot of money through sports or cinema, people think they must be highly intelligent about something like experimental injections? In this case, it appears that Sean is playing the part of a useful idiot without knowing it.

He feels that not getting vaccinated is like pointing a loaded gun in someone's face.

Sean Penn Believes COVID-19 Vaccinations “Should Be Mandatory”, Compares Not Getting Jabbed To “Pointing A Gun In Somebody’s Face”

I guess he might know, but seriously, should Penn and Alec Baldwin just get a room somewhere?
OK seriously... how is it possible this OBVIOUS low brow dimwit gets 2 seconds to talk about anything?? Anything.
All the man is capable of doing is acting. I doubt he can add two number together larger than one digit.

He really should win an Oscar for Best Useful Idiot. :)
