The Republican Party has received aid and comfort from Putin on social media. Paul Manafort was receiving money from Russian interests. Roger Stone knew about the Russian hacked Podesta e-mails and they would be on WikiLeaks before they appeared. He also bragged he had a backchannel. The national emergency shows that Republican support for the Constitution depends on whether the President has a R or D in front of their name. The fact is that the Republican Party is more unpopular than Democrats.

A majority of voters want compromise. That is why they fired Republicans in the House.
