a real breakthrough - Men are physically stronger than women!
After transgender people in the USA and men in the past began to break national records in swimming in women's competitions and snatch victory from each other, the country's sports organizations decided to introduce new rules for athletes who changed their gender.
The National Collegiate Sports Association (NCAA) was the first to want to set the framework - after a series of victories by transgender Leah Thomas from the women's team of the University of Pennsylvania.
At the end of January, the NCAA announced that it would now contact the national governing bodies for each individual sport to determine the requirements for transgender athletes to participate in women's competitions. The association also introduced mandatory tests for testosterone levels - they must be taken four weeks before the competition.
And following the NCAA on February 1, the USA Swimming Federation decided to introduce rules for transgender swimmers.
Her statement says that the federation will continue to defend the inclusivity of all cisgender and transgender women and their right to participate in competitions, but the advantages that male physiology gives should be mitigated. Therefore, now athletes in the process of trans-transition will be allowed to compete only if their testosterone level has not exceeded 5 nmol/l for 36 months.
In addition, a group of three independent medical experts will demand proof that the athlete's previous physical development as a man, mitigated by any medical intervention, does not give him a competitive advantage over cisgender female athletes.
In an attempt to justify its actions, the federation cited statistics showing that a woman who took first place in 2021, on average, will take 536th place in all competitions in the country in short distances among men and 326th place in all long distances among men. That is, sports functionaries suddenly realized the obvious: men are in any case stronger than women (no wonder there have been different standards for them for a long time).
Measures against the obvious inequality in the physical form of men (even if they have changed their gender) and women were also taken in Arizona. At the initiative of Republicans, the state passed a law restricting the right of trans girls to compete in sports teams that match their gender identity. This applies to all educational institutions in the state. The law clearly states that the sex of a person is laid during fertilization, and it turns out at birth or even in utero.
Democrats are already outraged: they say the document "intimidates transgender children." And they dubbed him "show me your genitals" - for the alleged physical examination of athletes posing as female athletes.
