Schumer Vows To Keep Medicaid Off Chopping Block In Debt Ceiling Fight

President Joe Biden has done a masterful job in drawing the line with Republicans: He will not negotiate Social Security and Medicare with them—period. It’s truly been a thing of beauty, and a tremendous relief for all us lefties who still have memories of how he chose to be bipartisan and undercut then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who was on the brink of victory in raising taxes on the super-rich back during the Obama administration. Biden learned some critical lessons in that, the most important being: Don’t trust a Republican.

Lets be very clear on this. There aren’t going to be any cuts on anything to the working class, or the poor. There will only be raises in taxes on the corporations and filthy rich. It’s the only place you’re going to get any money for anything Republicans. Better resign yourselves to that fact.
This is all jive. The first place they always look for money is from the middle class working stiff. Their latest push is to go after waitresses-waiters tips. They're planning to hire 87000 new IRS agents to do this and
other middle class shakedowns. An actual budget solution would be for spendthrift assholes like Schumer to first, get rid of the 5+ million illegal aliens they let overrun our country and we are now supporting, some in luxury hotels the average American will never see the inside of. Democrats have no problem shelling out OUR money for illegal aliens or other countries wars, but they can't help the people in Ohio whose town is now contaminated by poisonous chemicals. As usual, jive ass Schumer will try to make the budget all about saving SS-Medicare and not throwing granny under the bus but that's all theater. We need to get the Schumers out of our budgeting process and replace them with serious, responsible people.

Are you stupid or dumb?

Hilarious Bluto
I recognize that you imbeciles find simply stated and totally accurate assertions about the real world to be funny.

Of course, odd1, you tend to giggle at tiny bits of shiny foil too.

Here. Have another chortle:

That is how you back up that the Majority Leader is a liar.

Failure of epic proportions

One wonders whether the Politicians are stupid, or they think WE are stupid.

Social Security and Medicare are a completely separate discussion from the discussion about controlling the exploding deficit. SS and Medicare are funded separately by payroll taxes, and the respective "trust funds," though fictitious, are inviolable. Congress has the power to increase or decrease SS monthly checks - the USSC has confirmed that - but when the "trust fund" runs dry, that's it. General Funds CANNOT be used to pay Social Security stipends. The Constitution forbids it.

Congress will presently have to enter into serious discussions about dealing with the coming shortfall in the SS trust fund. As stated above, those discussion have nothing to do with controlling the deficit.

Medicaid, on the other hand, while unconstitutional, does not have the "trust fund" issue to deal with. It can be modified, enhanced, or eliminated, at the discretion of Congress and the President.

You are all aware, are you not, that Senator Joe Biden once suggested reducing SS payments?
All a political convenience to a Democrat party that desperately needs to change the discussion's on everything they've screwed up.

The talk of social security running out when we just sent billion's to a foreign country so it could fight back against it's neighbor who crossed it's border in an unwelcomed way, should totally piss off the citizen's in this country when they realize what dipshites the political class or elite's of this nation truly think of the hard working taxpayer's of this nation are.

It's time for protest like we are seeing in France, because we've lost our flipping minds in this country now.

Oh gee. Did you ever ask for support for the claim that the majority leader is a liar?

Maybe that was a thought you held somewhere deep in your so-called “mind.”

But if you want to verbalize an unformulated question, you have to speak it out loud or put it into writing. Get an adult to assist you.

If a filthy rich person buys $2m of goods, and Joe Bloggs buys $30,000 in the same year and 20% sales tax, why are you wanting to tax the filthy rich more?

Are you using the term filthy rich because you're not filthy rich?

Why don't you voluntarily pay more tax than you need to to be holier-than-thou?

If a Democrat president was interested in healthcare, why haven't they nationalised healthcare in the US?

It's CALLED REVELATION dumbass

its called the BOOK of REVELATION

As Rush used to say, you're "too smart" by half
.I just say you're a dumbass who should listen more than he speaks
There are actually two books of Revelation but it is all a moot point and ridiculous to argue about anyway because even IF there ever was anything "prophetic" in these miserable tomes in the first place it (most likely) would have been fulfilled with the fall of The Roman Empire in the 4th century AD. Roughly 400 years after the manuscripts were written.
Like all the rest of the collection of writings in The Christian Bible The Book(s) of Revelation, probably written sometime in the 4th decade AD, mean nothing for today's world beyond dusty, obsolete and archaic historical curiosity value.

If you're looking for some kind of "soothsayer" I suggest Nostradamus.
At least his writings are somewhat interesting.

Like 3.4% unemployment?
