Say what you like it would be inappropriate for Biden to declare today or tomorrow he is stepping aside. A brave act such as that needs careful planning for all concerned. This cannot be taken lightly. After watching him today there was plenty of fire in his belly.

Presidential debates are worthless and not a great source of information for voters to make any decision........ leave it at that.

Never do another Presidential Debate
Kill the Electoral College
Kill United We Stand
Go after the group or groups pushing voter suppression right now
Put The Supreme Court on leave until further notice without pay
Put Trump behind bars former President or not!!!!!!

First, the "problem" is not that there are debates; the problem is the rules for the debates. The candidates should know the questions in advance, and should be compelled to at least purport to answer the questions.

Second, the "problem" with the Electoral College is not the fact of the Electoral College, but what the State legislatures have elected to do with them. If they had any balls they would allocate the EV's according to their own discretion, not give them all to the person who wins the popular vote in the State.

Fourth, "voter suppression" is in the eye of the beholder. Trying to eliminate the candidate that half of America wants to vote for is "voter suppression." Demanding that voters show up on Election Day with a ******* photo ID is not "voter suppression."

Most states are like mine where you don't need to show proof of citizenship for a basic driver's license, but only for an enhanced one.
As for voter registration, in the case of "motor voter" done when getting a state license, you only have to sign an affidavit claiming you are a citizen. No proof required.
Speaking of "etc etc etc" have you registered with Selective Service?

We do need to have better better security on elections to restore voter confidence. Having an acceptable ID that provides proof of citizenship will help. Anyone crossing the border into Canada or traveling by air is already having to present such.

I'm all for women doing their own health care, and paying for it, as well as everyone else. My issue with abortion is that it's a future citizen whom is having their rights infringed when being killed. Also the father's right's are ignored. If the dad is on the hook for child support if the child is born, then he should have a say on abortion or not.

One area where I will support "more guv'mint" would be for the state to sponsor all unborn citizens and if the mother/parents don't want the baby/child to be, then the state covers medical costs through the birth and adoption.

LBJ declined to run for a 2nd term just when Americans needed leadership during his Vietnam war. Chances are that Biden isn't even aware of his role in a historic event.
