The Saudi justice system continues to rely on the torture-induced 'confession' of a 14-year-old boy to convict him for a crime he could not have committed

Al-Howaiti was charged with murder, but activists say CCTV footage shows that he wasn’t even at the scene of the crime

In May 2017, the then 14-year-old was arrested on charges of robbery and murder. Despite having an alibi, and based on a confession extracted under torture and other ill-treatment, he was convicted, and recently sentenced to death for a second time after his original conviction was overturned by the Saudi Supreme Court last year.

“We are alarmed by the confirmation of the death sentence against Mr. Al-Howaiti, on 2 March 2022, without initiating any investigation into the allegations of torture or determining the veracity of the coerced confession of guilt,” the experts said.

i'm shaking...and it would have been worse if it was a good looking kid

Xiden won’t bring it up…he’s owned by the Crown…he’s made the United States dependent once again…and we no longer come from a position of strength

And the Saudis may well say, "Uh, right now the U.S. Government allows at least half a million babies to be killed each year by abortion. So don't talk to us about 'human rights.' No nation that allows the barbaric practice of elective abortion has any business lecturing others about humane policies."
