The fact is the warrant was illegal.
The statutes clearly states that you have to be specific in what you're searching for, but Reinhart signed a warrant that allowed the FBI to look for dirt on Trump. The FBI searched his wife's room and his son's room and has had to be forced to return items they had no right to, including his passports. It shows that they were going way beyond the scope of the intent of the search.
