Ruth Chris Steakhouse enforces their dress code.....Finally

High end steakhouse advertised by Rush Limbaugh for years.

Inversely, I want to go to a restaurant where Hawaiian shirts are required. :)
Bing's?
The Circus Circus of cruise lines.

Edit: I prefer local places, but Mortons was good too.

Any boor who wears a hat indoors outside of a sporting event needs to get his ass absolutely kicked by a coven of grandmas shouting "where you raised in a barn!"
What's wrong with Circus Circus?
That breakfast buffet..and trapeze artists!

IDK where they originated, but they have one in Aruba and at least three other countries and a bundle of states. I didn't realize they were that big. I don't know if I've ever seen one.
It's a chain. I personally am not a fan of chain restaurants.
Bern's is a good steakhouse.
There's many other nice, privately-owned restaurants in Tampa.
Never been to Outback, ever. And they started here, too! :auiqs.jpg:
I've seen their meat, I think it's western grain-fed. It's not that great.

I agree about local places. We visited a couple local beach places south of Tampa last Aug. when I visited my brother. BTW, I sent your sig pic to him and got quite a chuckle.

What's south of Tampa? That place on the south side of the Skyway?
Drawing a blank on the name, they have a lot of A1A-type high-rise condos there.
Or you mean like Manatee or Sarasota? Idk if I wanna post what I know about those
beaches in open forum. People 'round the world don't need to be knowin' 'bout all dat dere.

I can relate to the flip side of the argument, too.

Speaking only for myself, the only places I go for supper any more would be the non-chain restaurants at a few of the marinas around here. They're top notch, too. Great environment with my kind of people. I completely avoid the chain places these days. I hate em.

Most folks in there, depending on the time of day are usually wearing shorts and maybe a polo or tee if they pulled in on a boat, which is often the case.

In the evenings it's a little different, especially depending on the day of the week. The decks are nice and provide a great evening atmosphere.

Single milf central, too, so wear a nice shirt and slacks in those cases. Being exceptionally handsome and having the ability to enunciate helps, too. :)

I've gotta get a boat, gawldammit, because the best little gems for great food and atmosphere around here you can't get to unless you have one or happen to be out with someone who does.

Ok, Mr Rockefeller
As you get older you will understand that good things cost a lot for a reason. I am not a spendthrift.

However, every now and then I like to splurge on a great meal. I do the same with what I drink. I'm a single malt kind of guy. So for my occasional indulgence it's a Macallan 12. 90ish a bottle, but it will last a few months.

But for special occasions, it's a Macallan 18, roughly 500 per bottle. But, it lasts several years.

I also have a single Macallan 50, unopened. That is to be enjoyed by my friends after I am gone.

Point to a nice boat in the marina and say, ā€œThat’s mine … just sailed it up from The Keysā€.

Same result and I just saved you skin cancer, insanity, and a million dollars.

You’re welcome.

No, that won't work; everybody pretty much knows everybody else to one extent or another in those little cubby holes. That's another great thing about those kinds of places versus the chain places in some strip mall, though.

As far as going to places to eat............I have my rock solids I've been going to all of my adult life.
Taco Bueno, Jack In The Box for "fast food".......and Red Robin, El Fenix, and Chilis for restaurant food.

It's not often I go, because I just can't afford it.

Haven't been to a steak house since the 80s.
Since Biden jacked up prices so heinously for food stuffs across the board, I can't afford beef anymore anyway.
I can't imagine how much steak houses charge now!!! Geezus. Do you have to get a loan on your house to eat at a steak place now?
