The problem with the American mindset is that it condemns as evil everything that doesn't identically resemble it. Putin has plenty of problems but no more so than our own government here does. The big missing component in the the knowledge level of all these people complaining is the fact that nearly 20,000 Russian speaking Nationals have been killed in the past 10 years by an aggressive genocidal campaign carried out by the Ukrainian government.

There was no political capital in it for anyone so it wasn't a daily headline here in the West. I know something about it because I work with people who have Russian relatives in Ukraine. Other than that I would probably not know anything at all about it because it's simply nothing printed here in the west about it.

It's a big deal. He said weeks ago that anything supplying Ukraine with weapons is fair game - Russia warns anyone transporting weapons to Ukraine is a legitimate military target
