Russia Formally Warns US to Stop Arming Ukraine!

Putin has fucked his country.

It does matter who started it.

If we invaded Mexico, Russia would probably give the cartels weapons. Then I guess we could send them a note just like Russia did.

Maybe if the Russians want to talk, they should answer the phone.
Small arms and such? Probably. But about the time they gave them something that destroyed such a large asset like an aircraft carrier… Yeah… We be at open war with Russia in an instant. And I’d be all for it aggressor or not. Because it ain’t Russia's ******* business.

Russia has a lot of clandestine options as well.

Expect a Neptune torpedo up your carrier's ass in the Pacific.

The world would be told it was an accidental munitions discharge that blew the carrier in half and sank her in about 30 minutes.

But....who would ever know? Would the US want to accuse Russia of actually attacking a US carrier? What would come of it? More ***** sanctions?
You don't think that the USN doesn't know exactly where every Russia sub is at every minute? We have SOSUS networks that constantly track Russian and Chinese subs.

Without rattling any sabers, I wonder what the US reply to the “formal” Russian “warning” might be if we had a real President in office?

Dear Vlad:

Kind of you to write. So nice hearing from you.

With regard to your latest missive, please be advised that present circumstances make compliance with your “request” quite impractical at this time. However, we believe that the present circumstances would be alleviated, completely, if you would simply order a cease fire and immediately withdraw all Russian forces and military materiel from Ukraine.

Please consider this our “formal” reply. Happy Easter and Happy Passover.

Best regards,

The United States of America

We can go toe-to-toe with why the Russians are having problems with their soviet legacy. The biggest problem is that most of it is not updated.

If that's the case, Russia may do something equally concerning. They know the US will not risk nuclear escalation.

Russia has the complete advantage at the nuclear level. Unlike the US, Russia has spent 50 years building bunkers, hardened industry and power plants, massive stock piles of everything imagineable. And there's a lot of good "bunker hunters" who break into these bunkers on youtube that show you just how massive and well supplied with new equipment these bunkers are.

Russia - religiously speaking - wants a nuclear war.

Russian orthodox believes that the end times will be brought about by man's actions, not by God. I won't get into their apocalyptic views but the Russian Orthodox Church is as bad as Iranians in some ways.
If you believe that in as corrupt a country as Russia, those bunkers aren't built far less robustly than designed and no one has broken in and sold all the doomsday supplies you are a credulous fool.

It's our stated policy that an attack on a CVN is the same as an attack on a US city, so in that case you'd be right. We came close in 1962 over nuclear missiles in Cuba. There are red lines.

But we didn't go to war with Russia over other weapons provided to Castro, and we didn't provide the missile that sank the Moskva. The Moskva was engaged in armed combat against Ukraine, launching cruise missiles at Ukrainian cities, and providing air defenses for other military assets doing the same.

Sometimes what goes around comes around, Ukrainians acted in self-defense.

If Putin wants to talk now, we'll talk. He just needs to put down the gun first.

Biden told Putin that red lines don't matter and the world listened. I highly doubt the world is going to allow the US to drag the world down in a suicide pact for a stupid US Carrier with a few thousand people on it. They would decry the US as an enemy of the world and sanction us before we could take any action.

If Russia wants to nuke Ukraine there isn't a ******* thing the US can do about it.

Well unlike you, I've seen the bunkers and they are also deep underground, usually in excess of 30 feet. So those bunkers are far more credible than YOU think.

The bunkers aren't primary targets, usually they are in cities or offshoots of subways that are targeted for airbursts. 30 feet is over kill depth.

Some are deeper than that and could survive direct hits.

The supplies, usually enough for 20 or 30 thousand people for years are still there...just fine. Not stolen yet. Getting into said bunkers usually requires some god damned spelunking through air ducts and some tooling to get through very tight spaces. You're not smuggling out equipment with that kind of tight fit.

So what will dumb ass Biden do when Russians start killing Americans transporting equipment?

Who is “we”? Last I checked, Russia was at war with Ukraine, not the US, despite our incessant provocations.

Clearly you never worked on a Submarine lol.

You realize that the SOSUS networks are deployed near the US, not across the world, they don't work like that.

And most Russian subs are "black holes" with the exception of the Akula which is the fastest sub in the world at 40+kts.

You're a naive twit, you probably don't even know how underwater acoustics works. You can hide with the noisiest marching band banging cymbals day and night if you're parked in the right places.

Sorry, "we" is the US.

Putin is making threats because we are helping Ukraine. So let him make threats.

If he attacks us, he's at war with NATO. And then we sink his navy, but that's another thread, lol.

I can’t speak for Brandon. That demented old fool can’t speak for himself. But if Russia starts interfering with our ability to supply Russia’s victim (Ukraine), I would anticipate that we might start firing back on anyone firing on our people or aircraft, etc.

How many Americans have his threats killed, and why is he making them?

Then YOU would be the instigator of global, and possibly nuclear war. Not Russia. Not Putin. The biggest lie the media has sold Americans in regard to the Russia/Ukraine war is “that you have to pick a side”. But the reality is “you don’t”. Europe is filled with Europeans who can intervene in a matter of one European country fighting another.
What is with this Pavlovian response America has developed, thinking we need to stick our nose in everyone else’s quarrels? Was Ukraine with us in Iraq? Syria? Afghanistan? Ever? Anywhere?
Why give a shit? And even if one is moved to give a shit… Why risk our own involvement for a corrupt country, whose only claim to fame is as a money laundering hub for the politicians we all claim to hate?

So Putin is whining that we are arming the people he is attacking?

Do I have that right?
