Rubio's Press Conference

Reich Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda Karoline Leavitt, 28 years old, is on maternity leave with her 60 year old husband, so Little Marco Rubio stood in today for a White House press briefing.

The difference was incredible. The man is erudite, concise, and very well informed. He has all the qualities I admired when he ran for president in 2016. He does not prevaricate, evade, or insult. He does not wear a sacrilegious cross around his neck. He does not answer questions by misdirecting to entirely unrelated issues or attacks.

I was sorely disappointed, and still am, that the man bowed down before the "demonic force" (Tucker Carlson's apt description) and is serving the most corrupt, incompetent, and disastrous administration in US history.

However, I would NOT be disappointed if Rubio was our next president.

Rubio charmed the media, and his eloquence and actual knowledge were a stark contrast to that of his boss.

Of course, I have a few disagreements with some of the spin he put on the war in Iran. But he's not about to piss off the boss.

One of the saddest moments was when Rubio claimed this administration cares about the people of Iran and that they are doing the people a favor.

That's exactly what our government said about the people of Iraq when we invaded their country. How'd that work out for them?

I'm sure the people of Iran aren't buying that bullshit. The Revolutionary Guard are going to make their lives even harder.

Rubio also claimed we were doing the world a favor, and then schizophrenically mentioned how much better off we are from the fallout of the war than the rest of the world.

I think you're off on this one brother, like way off.

As far as revolutions go, we should look at the "Arab Spring".

The Arab Spring was brought on by the Great Recession of 2008.

Trump is causing severe crises all around Asia right now. Shortages of everything from fertilizer to oil to raw materials. Far worse than what we are experiencing domestically.

The first place we will see trouble will be the Philippines.

I don't know who you are looking at for 2028, but I see Gavin Newsom has the lead for the Democrats.

Newsom would be a HUGE mistake. Huge.

I'll take Rubio over Newsom any day of the week.

If it comes down to Vance vs. Newsom, I'll be writing in Snoopy for yet another federal election and just voting at the local level again.

You seem to be under the impression the entire population is against the regime.

Wrong.

If you look at ANY oppressive regime in history, you will find it only takes a very tiny minority to control the population.

About 10 percent is all it takes.

Remember when Bush was going to "liberate" Iraq? How'd that work
OK "only" a vast majority of Iranians oppose the Regime so maybe they only outnumber the IRGC by 400 to 1. I'm hoping the arming program is much more extensive than what is being reported. Airtronic makes a modern shoulder launch RPG launcher that would be a game changer in the Iranian people's arsenal. :113:

Does the IRGC drive armored vehicles? They need an AK-47 or something more utilitarian for dispatching the mullah's henchmen.

Lol. Stop it. If Rubio won the 2028 GOP candidate you'd all claim he is Hitler reincarnated, too. You know it and I know it.

You people are severely mentally.

We are not arming the Iranian people.

Trump is hoaxing you. Again.

I don't like Newsom either, but electing another Republican right now is just begging for total and complete destruction.

Says the Trump cultist.

You don't even know how hilariously ironic you sound, do you.

All that matters is the federal debt. That is the single greatest threat to our democracy.

Not pronouns. Not brown people. Not Iranians or Muslims.

The debt.

And Kasich knows how to eliminate the debt.
I supported Kasich over Trump then after Trump won, the true Kasich came out and this Kasich I do not like one bit.

Stop manufacturing bullshit, son.

I have always liked Rubio and you can search my posts and see for yourself.

You are the kind of person who forms opinions about politicians based on what your TV tells you to.

I do not.

I read their white papers and policy pages on their web sites. I read the bills they have sponsored.

You, on the other hand, have the intellectual bandwidth of a bumper sticker, so don't even think about lecturing me about what I think or don't think or what I will do, okay punk?

Yes, Kasich became a whiny little *****, but at least he didn't join forces with Satan's henchman in the White House like so many others who saw Trump for what he is and sucked his ass hole anyway.

Perhaps it would be instructive for you to look at things this way. Imagine a Dem Sec. of State who, however eruditely, has defended and WILLINGLY PARTICIPATED IN the..........as you put it..........."the most corrupt, incompetent, and disastrous administration in US history."

What would you think about a poster coming on the board in support of the Sec. of State's candidacy for prez? Someone who has prostituted himself to this degree. Why would anyone with the best interests of the country still be associated with such a regime? It isn't like resignation isn't an option.

I want presidential candidates with enough integrity to do what's right for the nation. Not what's right for his own political expediency.

Nobody who submitted to tRump can be allowed to hold any amount of power.

NOBODY

Period.

Is that debate? It seems more like whining mixed with cursing. Is it discussion? If you were approached the way you approached me, would you call it what?

I'm just putting Kasich's character in perspective. He's still a better man than all the Republicans who called Trump out on his evilness...and then bent the knee to him.
