Obama and the Dems destroyed the next generation of party leaders. When Dems got shellacked in 2010 Pelosi should have resigned. She clung to power instead and brushed aside the new generation. On Obamacare she and Reid pushed the Dems to support it. They did and paid at the polls as virtually anyone in a contested seat either didnt run or got defeated.
The result is the dems are stuck with one viable presidential candidate. One.
