More BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSH? Really?
Yes, really. That is where your "grandchildrens' future" went debt-wise. And what do we have to show for it? Abso-effing nothing good... An insurgent breeding ground where there wasn't one. A sovereign nation in tatters, and dead and maimed US soldiers & Iraqi civilians. But Halliburton and Blackwater got paid, yo! You DO know that Cheney still retained stock options in Halliburton while in office, right? Oopsie. Oh, I forgot. Neocons embrace hypocrisy.

Thanks, Conservatives for being so consistent! Nothing is ever their fault. The solutions they offer always result in more problems than they were 'designed' to solve. They re-write history to burnish their own image of themselves. Twas ever thus!

Consistency is the hallmark of a true champion!

Why would anyone listen to Rove?
He got Bush elected Governor and two terms as President
nope.

Rove's plan to get Bush elected in 2000, was a failure, unless you count going to the US Supreme Court as part of his secret plan.

Rove's genius was always pushed by Rove himself. Those who have followed electoral politics have always known he was good, not a genius and certainly a big blowhard.

2004, followed because of War and terrorism...not part of Rove's grand plan for a 2 term Bush Presidency.

The "architect"?
again, the architect's plans did not get Bush elected President. Others along with Rove, took advantage of situational circumstances.

Rove was not alone, and he did not have a plan like the Carter people did, that took a nobody Guv and beat a sitting President.

listen to what Rove said. He parsed his words edited: [brilliantly] : in a sneaky way. . It was never the Bush policy to go to war for oil.

Sorry but i do not arbitrarily take rdeans word for anything, or yours for that matter.
fair enuf.... you pick an amount of tax money that makes you feel good about the war and then could you let me know in your opinion the reason that amount of money, the lives of American service people and the lives of innocent Iraqi civilians lost was justified?

Seriously though, more BOOOOOOOOOOOOSH? Pretty sad stuff. You guys had all the power and did nothing. You even had a Super Majority in Congress for God's sake. A Super Majority and a Democratic President = Squat from you guys. You didn't do anything different than Bush did. How bout that "Evil" Patriot Act for instance? You whined incessantly about it for years yet you guys quietly and deviously reauthorized all of it. That's just one example of your terrible dishonesty and incompetence.

You guys could have done anything you wanted yet you did nothing. Now you're still whining about Bush? Sounds pretty sad & pathetic to me. The Democrats are much better at being the Minority Party. They are clearly much better at whining & b*tching than they are at leading. They had no good ideas back when they were the Minority and they still don't. I mean come on,only the Democrats could f*ck up a Super Majority so badly. Blame BOOOOOOOOOSSH if you want but most common sense thinking Americans are blaming you guys at this point. The Democrats should always be the Minority Party. That's what they're good at. Make 2010 count people.

YouTube - Rove claims Bush administration never said Iraqi oil would help pay for war

Liar Liar, Pants on Fire.

Wolfowitz Strives To Quell Criticism (washingtonpost.com)

The clip showed Wolfowitz telling a congressional panel, "It's hard to conceive that it would take more forces to provide stability in post-Saddam Iraq than it would take to conduct the war itself," and "The oil revenue of that country could bring between 50 and 100 billion dollars over the course of the next two or three years. We're dealing with a country that could really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon." The show's host, Jon Stewart, hooted, "[Bleeped] that one up, too!"
Press Briefing by Ari Fleischer

Q Back on the cost issue. If the U.S. does not get a second resolution, does the President believe that U.S. taxpayers will disproportionately bear the burden of the reconstruction costs in Iraq?

MR. FLEISCHER: Well, the reconstruction costs remain a very -- an issue for the future. And Iraq, unlike Afghanistan, is a rather wealthy country. Iraq has tremendous resources that belong to the Iraqi people. And so there are a variety of means that Iraq has to be able to shoulder much of the burden for their own reconstruction.

And given the fact that Iraq right now suffers under sanctions as a result of Saddam Hussein's repression and Saddam Hussein's attempts to procure weapons which the United Nations have said are sanctionable -- the fact of the matter is that Iraq's reconstruction will be aided by the removal of Saddam Hussein because Iraq will then be able to take its proper place among nations of the world that trades and trades freely, which all benefits the reconstruction of Iraq.
The rewriting of the history will be much tougher for Mr. Rove and his allies with the existence of the internet.

The media bigwigs are always slow on the uptake in a one-on-one live.

Rove mentions war policy. Media mentions help paying for the war.

What was said by Administration mouth pieces was oil would pay for reconstruction.

Parsed words.

Hopefully the Democrats will be the Minority Party soon. That's clearly what they're good at. If you want endless B*tchin and Whining you call the Democrats. If you want to get anything done for the country you definitely don't call the Democrats. They literally had endless power in recent years and did absolutely nothing. A Super Majority up in smoke. Blame BOOOOOOOOOOOSSH? Nah we're blaming you.

You may claim to be a libertarian, but your posts reveal you are a republican to the bone.
