As a result of the insurrection, 6 people died due to their defense of the Capitol. Whether it was in the building or after the siege ended is inconsequential. One was a Tump supporter who was acting out. The others, whether or not they supported the man on the moon, were defending the Capitol.

If you got that information from watching videotapes it was incorrect and misleading. Four of the people who died were Trump supporters not one.

The riots we saw in our cities this summer were serious, as was the situation and political climate that created them. Those involved in violence, rioter and police, should be punished. But the invasion of our capital by those intent on staging a coup to place Trump in place as the first American dictator was the political equivalent of Fort Sumpter or Pearl Harbor. They, and Trump, were attempting to destroy our democracy by overturning a legitimate election. When Trump moved to a bunker, there were no breaches of the White House, nor hundreds of people screaming to kill Trump, as there were people screaming to kill the legislators and hang Vice-President Pence in the Capital. Trump headed for the bunker because he is a coward.

Trump was moved to a bunker as a precaution. The insurrection was, in my view, as serious as those 2 events in that the idea was to overthrow a duly elected government. In terms of people killed, it was not as serious.
