Not really that big surprise. Santorum did lose his senate seat here.

I believe that Romney is the candidate that has the best chance of defeating Obama. I am hoping he wins Michigan, Arizona, and a majority of the Super Tuesday delegates. If he does, he will be very hard to stop....

Yeah, Okay, you keep telling yourself that, Spanky.

Romney has been defeated by Ted the Drunk, Devall Patrick (didn't even show up to that fight), Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. You could probably add Ron Paul to that list if the GOP didn't blatantly cheat in Maine.

He did beat a non-entity named Shannon O'Brien once. With a whopping 49% of the vote.

So, no, really, he has a snowball's chance in hell of beating Obama.

The GOP establishment did everything it could to rig the game for him, including putting primaries and caucuses he could win up front this time, and he's still flayling.

Watching this GOP campaign is like watching the Special Olympics. It just leaves one with a combination of horror and sadness.
