How is it possible that none of the German Politicians knew that Roman Polanski was spending endless time in Germany? Not even its Secret Police, nor Interpol knew Polanski was in Germany working in filming and enjoying his friends. And what is even more astounding, the millionaire, Roman Polanski, ends up with getting subsidies from the German politicians for his films. Yet no one knew he was there. Stranger than fiction? Is law and police only for some? Perhaps we have hit the point here.
