"Rolls-Royce Planning to Shift Production to United States to Avoid Trump Tariffs: Report

British engineering giant Rolls-Royce is reportedly preparing to increase manufacturing production in the United States to avoid tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.

London’s Daily Telegraph reported that Rolls-Royce is currently drafting contingency plans to avoid the impact of trade restrictions imposed by the Trump administration. The plans are said to include ramping up production in America and hiring more workers in the United States.

According to the report, the aerospace and defence company is considering shifting production from countries impacted by the trade war, such as China, Canada, and Mexico, where it currently has around 6,000 workers.

A source told the British broadsheet, “If you are making something in countries like China, then you’ll be looking at whether you can do it in the US instead.”"

More winning. Hopefully, Rolls-Royce only hires Trump voters. Dems wouldn't want to benefit from tariffs.

England does not have the electricity to run an automotive industry.

Due to the Google internet on negative wind power stories the truth is not being told.

Multiple times in the last year or two there was zero electricity from wind power which caused electricity cost to skyrocket.

England built five power lines to France so that England could import electricity when the wind quit blowing. One line burnt up the demand for imported power was so high.

England has died, wind power is the nail in the coffin.

Industry needs cheap electricity, Rolls Royce is fleeing more than a tariff. They are fleeing a dying country over ran with moslems and democrat/people types

Sad but this is what WEF Globalists are doing to the West.

The U.K. does have 8 operational nuclear plants that generate Electricity and may build more.
Additionally, they've recently found a gas pocket in Lincolnshire that can make them energy independent for decades, enabling them to generate more electricity

P.S. Just how many Jet engines can Rolls Royce produce for the U.S.A.?

Yet they brag the future is wind and they have invested over a $100 billion in wind.

Germany and England are suffering electricity shortages. Because they invested in green energy.

Industry can not operate on random power. 15% of England's power comes from nuclear. If the only have 8 nuclear reactors they need to build 48 nuclear reactors just to meet today's demand

Rolls Royce is making a decision based on more than tariffs. Tariffs can be negotiated but they still don't have the energy they need

Looks like you are ignorant on this subject
England is in serious trouble. They are out of electricity and that extends to products from fossil fuels that industry uses

Britain’s wind power output fell to just above zero on Wednesday, which, combined with the cold, dark weather, caused the market price for electricity to climb to almost £250 per megawatt-hour at auction, or almost seven times the average price before the pandemic.

The sudden drop-off in renewable energy due to dull windless winter weather, known as dunkelflaute in German, has also forced the system operator to pay gas power stations more than £500/MWh to run on Wednesday evening when household demand is expected to reach its peak.

Now you are just proving yourself stupid
England's industry is suffering power shortages.

A major fire has forced the shutdown of one of Britain’s most important power cables importing electricity from France as the UK faces a supply crunch and record high market prices.

National Grid was forced to evacuate staff from the site of the IFA high-voltage power cable, which brings electricity from France to a converter station in Kent, where 12 fire engines attended the blaze in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

It is not only a tariff threatening Rolls Royce. You can't run an industry without chemicals from the fossil fuel industry
As part of the closure statement, the company explained how UK energy prices had doubled in the last five years, resulting in the shuttering of ten large British chemical plants in that time while no plans had been announced for any new facilities ‘for a generation.’

Instead, chemical companies are leaving the UK to places with lower taxes, no carbon reduction schemes and cheaper energy (five times lower in the US than the UK according to Ineos) and easily accessible raw material feedstocks.
