Actually, Waters has a legitimate point.

This never should have gotten to the point of having a war. Zelensky got elected on a platform of adhering to the Minsk accords and resolving the Donbass situation diplomatically.

Instead, he continued the war in the Donbass until Russia attacked.

Doesn't excuse what Putin did, but this entire situation has been a massive miscalculation on all sides.
