Its THE PEOPLE that determine what is moral and what is immoral in such a free republic as is the United States of America. Its a simple concept........when the people are self governed, they by majority, even a simple majority can make law as is determined by the citizens of each state (if such a law is not in direct contradiction to the Contract drawn up among the people/state, the US Constitution). Every thing not contained as a guaranteed right in the Constitution (which in reality is a negative contract that places limits on the power and scope of a centralized government..i.e., the FED)..........belongs to the states/people of that state to make law as they determine .......SCOTUS has no authority to change the contract that is the US Constitution by simple opinion, what is not in the actual words of the constitution belongs to the people/states (Amendment 10).......not to a part of the Central/Federal Government which is SCOTUS.

In conclusion: I agree...........the laws of this nation even though based upon the Judeo/Christian philosophy are secular in nature (as is required in a truly free republic that has citizens of every faith, every culture etc.,) it can be no other way in a free society. The problem is..........immoral people make immoral laws and moral people make moral laws.

As a Christain we are commanded to obey the laws of the land (unless they conflict with your choice on how to serve God)....then God's law is paramount. Abortion even though Immoral to a Christian can not be forced upon the FREE PEOPLE of this nation on an individual platform.......if you don't believe in abortion, don't have an abortion if you consider it immoral. All one can do is to present the truth as presented by God in the Holy Scriptures......then those who hear are free to work out their own salvation or not. As far as I am concerned........abortion of any kind for any reason other than a natural happenstance is murder. Though shalt not murder or spell innocent blood. Its that simple.

When the government gets to the point they are no longer God's representative for good works (Roman 13:1-4) and attempt to force abortion on people that don't agree with such a law (such as is engaged in nations such as China when the government attempts to limit the number and sex of the children being born.....then and only then is it time to rebel in the name of God for vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

Again........immoral societies make immoral laws.......moral societies make moral laws such as is based upon the The Blackstone Commentaries on the laws of England (the basis for the majority of the rights contained in our founding documents and constitution). Blackstone has not been a cornerstone of US jurisprudence for almost a century now.........and it shows.

As Christians, render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's and render unto God that which is God's. As Christians, we must follow the laws of the land. If we don't agree with certain laws, then we need to work within the law to make those changes. Elections have consequences.

One is to follow the laws of men only as long as the government remains a "minister" to God in defending its people against evil and unrighteousness .........God appointed these governments (all authority comes from God) to be a "terror" against evil......not a terror to righteous people who simply wish for peace in following the commandments of the Lord. (Romans 13) "If you love me you will follow My Commandments" -- John 14:15


What do you assume was responsible for the foundation of the United States of America? It was the protestant movement first established in Europe in response to "unreasonable" and "non-scriptural" demands by the state governments that was controlled by the Vatican and the RCC. Commands that brought the world such false doctrines as the Crusades and the Inquisitions. In fact it was illegal for any lay person to even own a copy of the Holy Scriptures with a command from the Vatican to read from the scriptures from a Dead Language only.......LATIN. Thus the lay person or laity had no idea what the scriptures actually contained.....only the highly educated clergy of the RCC had access to the actual content of the Holy Scripture.......until the advent of the printing press and a wide distribution of a modern translation of the King James Version of the Holy Scriptures. Then and only then did the people realize they were being conned by the Church so the RCC could control the land, wealth and political power of the western civilized world.



The United States was formed after a great exodus in protest of the methods used by the RCC in controlling the population while demanding there be only 1 authorized type of worship........Roman Catholicism. The US owes its very existence to following the truth found in God's Laws. When any state government ceases to be God's minister in protecting the people under its control from evil, then the Laws of God become paramount to the laws of men.

God will destroy any such government that has turned away from His truth to the false doctrines of men..........ultimately when a government goes afoul of the truth instructed by God, "We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)

As long as the US Government allows our individual freedoms to reject or accept that which the Christian finds immoral.......we are to obey the laws of the land, as vengeance belongs to God, not the individual Christian (Romans 12:19), we are not to avenge ourselves but leave vengeance to God. But when Law goes directly contrary to the Word of God, its time to decide who you actually serve, God or Man. When the government begins to propagandize that serving the Lord is evil and contrary to the laws of men......its time to choose, ".......But, as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord." (Josh 24:15)

There will be many that claim to be a servant of God and man who will approach judgment but be rejected. (Matthew 7:22,23)

No man can serve 2 masters. (Matthew 6:24). As long as there is "freedom" to worship as we will we are to obey the law of the land give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's. As long as the Government of the US remains a servant or minister of God in being a terror to evil........we are to obey.
