Rochester, NY Mayor Warren indicted on charges including defraud in first degree and violation of election law
The indictment comes as the mayor faces criticism over the police-involved death of Daniel Prude

Rochester, N.Y., Mayor Lovely Warren was indicted Friday on campaign finance charges stemming from her re-election campaign three years ago, officials said.
Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley announced that Warren is facing two felonies, including scheme to defraud in the first degree and violation of election law. Also charged were Warren’s campaign treasurer, Albert Jones Jr., and the treasurer of her political action committee, Rosalind Brooks-Harris.
Under state rules, PACs and committees are forbidden from coordinating. Warren claims the funds were mistakenly placed in the PAC account.
The indictment comes as Warren, a Democrat, faces political turmoil over the city's handling of the death of Daniel Prude, who died after a police encounter in which a hood was placed over his head to keep him from spitting.
He stopped breathing after he was held down by officers and taken off life support a week later.
Warren has not been arrested but will be processed, Doorley said. If convicted, she would be removed from office.

Hmm.... Imagine my shock when I found out she is a Democrat!
But Hey.... That's the political process for you. Criminality doesn't include arrest, or bail.... The only reason this sort of thing continues to happen is because there are never any real consequences for the politically connected.
If campaign committees and PACs are forbidden to coordinate by campaign finance law, how did they have the account information to transfer the funds?
.I'm starting to think that all these officials caught cheating and charged with voting fraud are a direct result of Obama's structuring the mayors of cities and community programs to connect them directly across the nation, (while he was in his second term,) that it was indeed to politically organize groups they could control the voting of after he left.
