I agree, it's too many lies for this to end well. And the right has been defending the lieing. They must think good honest people lie this much when being questioned about serious crimes. That's a very concerning ethical fabric to fashion our country from, isnt it? I hear too often that someone is believed because they have a firm handshake and a confident and strong tone when denying something. Really? Have yall heard of acting?

I think we could see in this report.. or Congress and the SC could see.. everything laid out and evidence of regular support from trump to keep going. The last bit could have been hidden from the public to keep the peace until the case has been made on what exactly happened and action can be taken. This would be the right thing to do. Hand the findings of the investigation to the other branches to sort out how to proceed. It would not be appropriate for the FBI to simply arrest or remove trump from office on their deductions, or potentially even indict him. Seal the damaging info about trump individual 1 and put it in the hands of the SC and Congress. This is just a potential outcome, ofc. I think it's one of the few left that would allow for trump to be incriminated in anything worse than obstruction.

The senate recently concluded its investigation seemingly omitting such findings, however the senate is led by the GOP and so was the house for the last two years. There are hyper partisans in both houses and even though it may be their explicit duty to do some of this, I dont expect that many would be able to do it fairly unless it fits their desired outcome. They make no vow to being unbiased. The FBI does and Mueller was given a task to perform. What we saw in the FBI's partisanship with strozk, page, comey, is way worse in congress... the only difference is that they have the constitutional power and were elected there by the people. I'm of the position that you will not get a more tenacious investigation but from the opposition. See Gowdy and Chaffetz over Benghazi, a lot of people say they went too far but at least we know they tried freakin hard to get to the bottom of it. It was in all of their interests to do so and they had the power as majority leaders of the house and committee. I suspect that if dems were in charge of that, they may not have gone as far and the email server Easter egg at the end of tunnel may have been more readily dismissed. Hillary wasnt formally punished for that yet but the damage was sort of done by public opinion and vote.

No one cares if he communicated with people that knew about the wiki Hillary emails. No such communications are illegal. But he says he didn’t communicate with them directly, so what if he heard rumors through third parties? Again, nothing illegal.

Stone asking for damaging emails in the wake of the access Hollywood tape being released, and quoting Podesta's emails hours before their release on WikiLeaks. Little shit like that.

Oh yeah, and Trump's announcement that he was going to have something really big on Hillary which he would be announcing at a news conference the day AFTER Junior was scheduled to meet with the Russian lawyer trying to get the Magnitsky Act overturned, who promised dirt on Hillary.
