I know there are likely a lot of reasons not to do it but let me ask you something....what would you say about NOT ONLY BUILDING A LONG CONTIGUOUS FENCE (I support that by the way) but also building a good sized ship-channel from San Diego to Texas. We could not only stop sending our ships into Central America but could use the waterway to bring waters to the Desert. Additionally, it will serve as a natural barrier in addition to the wall.

Too much costs to the taxpayers since there is no way to make the Mexican government pay.

What if the place you're flying too doesn't give you landing permission...what then?

In my opinion, the cargo plane should land in some remote area with enough food and water to sustain the illegals until they can make it to someplace and then find their way home. If the illegals know they won't be sent home at our expense but will deported to some unattractive place, they might think twice before taking the risk.

Here's how you handle THAT.
FIRST, you close and securely enforce the border.

Then call the Sec of State and order him and the mexican ambassador (and any others that have significant numbers of illegals here) to a meeting at the white house.

Tell all these ambassadors that you are going to start deporting all nationals that are here illegally and you will seize any of their gvmt assets in this country and/or halt any future financial aid until the difference is made up...and then do it.

This sheit isn't as hard as you people pretend.
