Are you saying no minorities claims are ever accepted? Prove it.

Maybe. That depends on whether or not it gets overused. Given time and consistent usage, it just might. But most of the bullshit the left has deemed racist the last fifteen years or so is just that, bullshit. It goes from one end of the spectrum where racial slurs are used to the other end where a decorative cotton plant is racist.Gotcha, so all those "white racism" claims from the right are an extension of that and have no meaning.
Aren’t I creative?!I know and I couldn't stop laughing when I read it.
I once started a thread delineating between racist comments and non-racist comments. As examples:Maybe. That depends on whether or not it gets overused. There are no established parameters as to what constitutes racism and so anything and everything can be considered racist. As a result, the word has been reduced to a cudgel to win arguments and feel morally superior.
It became irrelevant when people eschewed the principle of equal opportunity in favor of special consideration and retribution. When the goal became focusing on (black/brown) skin color and reducing white numbers in work, education and social domains, equal opportunity no longer made sense.I once started a thread delineating between racist comments and non-racist comments. As examples:
Racist:
- “Black people are too stupid to get into college on their own.”
Non-racist:
- “We should abolish race-based admissions policies and select solely on merit.”
I had several examples like the above. However, the blacktivists on this forum raced in to claim ALL statements were racist. In what world is it racist to believe race should be irrelevant when choosing which college students to admit?
I worked in admissions. The way they turned themselves inside out to admit a significantly inferior black student over a much more qualified white would make your stomach turn. It’s why many schools got rid of the SAT requirement - without it, it made it easier to hide the discrepancy between black and white admits (and later on Asians, who got even more of the shaft). It became irrelevant when people eschewed the principle of equal opportunity in favor of special consideration and retribution. Yeah, you're just a racist douche, whining because a single white family got asylum.Go back and read what I actually said, and then have someone help you with the big words.
The reaction by leftists to that one white family was telling, wasn’t it? Here, they have incentivized millions of illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America to swarm in (their skin is darker), but go into a meltdown when one white European family gets asylum.Yeah, you're just a racist douche, whining because a single white family got asylum.
P.S. Imagine the meltdown Joe Antisemite would have if an Israel family wanted to immigrate here! He’d be even more outraged than he is over the European family.Yeah, you're just a racist douche, whining because a single white family got asylum.

As always, dumb as a rock. Because you are a racist, seeing everything in terms of race, you are unable to the difference between the kids you describe is economics, not race. The problem is that such a policy wouldn't account for the advantages of White Privilege.
For instance, who is more deserving, a white kid from an affluent suburb whose parents sent him to a private school, hired an SAT Coach and a private tutor to get a 1500 on his SAT, or a black kid who, despite growing up in an underfunded school district, still managed to eke out a 1450 on his SAT?
Further, there are so many other factors that help white kids get an advantage. Athletics, Children of Staff, Legacies, Dean's Interest - all favor white kids and white privilege.
They didn't get asylum. They also weren't expelled despite being denied.Yeah, you're just a racist douche, whining because a single white family got asylum.
Because they didn't deserve Asylum. They weren't being oppressed. They weren't allowed to Home School their kids. (A policy, honestly, I wish we had here.)The reaction by leftists to that one white family was telling, wasn’t it? Why would I care? Frankly, the more Jews who move out of Palestine, the better.P.S. Imagine the meltdown Joe Antisemite would have if an Israel family wanted to immigrate here! He’d be even more outraged than he is over the European family.

If a poor white kid who scored 1450 in his SAT were admitted instead of a wealthy black kid who scored 1500, you'd be screaming, white privilege. The system isn't racist, you are.
My first exposure to this nonsense was when my college boyfriend with a 3.6 GPA was rejected from every single med school, yet his black classmates with lower GPAs got in to a number of them. As a result, my boyfriend never did become a doctor. He was just the “bad” color.
We eliminate race from the equation by relying on objective measures like the SAT's to determine admissions. How many times is that rich black kid going to get pulled over by the cops for driving too fancy of a car?
It's foolish to think we can decouple race and economics in this country.
Or the medical schools saw more value in having a black doctor who would work in an underprivileged neighborhood rather than another Jewish plastic surgeon who is going to do liposuction on old ladies.
We eliminate race from the equation by relying on objective measures like the SAT's to determine admissions.
Clearly, take away your racism, and there is nothing else to you.
There is no cultural bias in the SAT's and the quality of the prep schools depends on wealth, not race.Except the SATs aren't "Objective". Besides their cultural bias, affluent white school districts have far more resources to prepare kids for them.
And how is the SAT biased, exactly?Except the SATs aren't "Objective". Besides their cultural bias, affluent white school districts have far more resources to prepare kids for them.
That’s why so many schools eliminated SATs. It was getting really hard to explain why blacks were getting admitted with lower scores than the whites had but were rejected. We eliminate race from the equation by relying on objective measures like the SAT's to determine admissions.

Google is your friend. And how is the SAT biased, exactly?

It actually created a dilemma in the admissions office. They wanted blacks to know that they could get in with unimpressive scores, but then whites would find out and wonder why they were getting rejected with much higher scores - and possibly bring a lawsuit.
The other dilemma was just how low to place the “black cut-off” in an effort to reach the goal of 14% blacks. If they went too low, then blacks admitted under the lowered standards would struggle to keep up with their peers, but if they set it too high, they didn’t get the 14%.
To be clear, not ALL blacks got in due to lower standards. About 1 in 3 blacks would have gotten in even if they were white.
