Again, Reagan tripled the debt. You are going to compare the 80's to the 2000s in actual $? You are aware the economy grew a lot since the 80's? Again, you claim to be logical?
When you have to resort to idiotic twists like
that - you know you've lost the argument. The difference in actual dollars between the 1980's and 2008 isn't that great (it's not like we're comparing 1880 to 2008).
But far more important than that - the debt was nominal when Reagan took it over. It was massive when Obama's took it over and he
still managed to
double it (and that's despite the fact that he raised taxes across the board while Reagan cut them across the board, and while Obama inherited a fully capable military while Reagan had to rebuild it).
Again...Barack Insane Obama added $10 trillion to the national debt in only 8 years. That's as much as all presidents combined in U.S. history accumulated in 232 years.
