Is it humane to expect citizens of advanced capitalist economies like the US to perform farm labor or should US citizens be entitled to having this labor performed for them by non-citizen migrants?

In the real world, democracy is an open discourse where any proposal can be brought to the table to be seriously considered. Only in authoritarian lalaland are ideas pre-emptively dismissed as unrealistic.

It's not like I suggested inviting Martians to fly to Earth and use their flying saucers as tractors. I proposed two options for comparison: 1) allowing non-citizen migrants to perform farm labor for the sake of protecting citizens from being used as agricultural labor 2) drafting citizens to perform such labor when not enough voluntarily solicit for the work.

Both options are reasonably realistic alternatives that would quell critiques of non-citizens performing work illegally.

You haven't provided one shred of reasoning about why anything I've put forth is bad. You just toss around personal insults and pushy assertions about 'reality.'

You have yet to say one thing about agricultural labor, economics, wages for non-citizens vs. citizens, the logistics of using a draft to require citizens to perform labor in markets with insufficient levels of solicitation, etc.

Maybe you're incapable of thinking in real terms so you throw around meta-claims about other posts so you can sound like you have some level of expert judgment when you really wouldn't know where to begin seriously discussing the topic.
