This notion that Biden is encouraging children to be sex trafficked across the border is bullshit. If anything Biden is getting the children out of the hands of the coyotes in the sex traffickers who currently have them on the other side of the border. Biden is taking custody and control of the children away from the coyotes in the sex traffickers.

Once the children are across the border and in the hands of border patrol, it should not be unreasonable to think they are no longer being sex trafficked.

If indeed children being sex trafficked at the border then once they are in custody of border patrol they are safe. The border patrol should be picking up as many of these children as quickly as possible to get the rest to safety as quickly as possible.

It seems unconscionable that Trump would not take these abused and trafficked children in, and save them from this abuse. Leaving them in the hands of their abusers seems both legally and morally wrong.

Kamala is meeting with the leaders of the home countries of these families, trying to find out why what they need to help these people keep their children at home.

The US used to provide foreign aid and technical support to these countries in policing the gangs and the drug cartels that are driving people to flee north. Trump ended the foreign aid and the anti-gang programs, making the situation worse and driving even more refugees to leave and make the run for the US border.

When Trump took office, illegal border crossings were at a 50 year low. Trump ended all of the programs that kept illegal border crossings low, in order to justify building the wall. He wanted people to rush the border so that he could say we need the wall. It’s an old political trick create a crisis so you can be seen to be solving it.

Biden is actually solving the problem but it’s gotten so bad that it’s not going to happen overnight.

This Spring’s border surge is an annual event that is happened every year for the last 20 years except for 2020. Trump dismantled all of the infrastructure to deal with these surges and steadfastly refused to put the people or equipment in place in time to deal with it because he wanted Biden to fail.

Kamala is the vice president of the United States. She not some soccer mom dispensing soup to needy children with her church group, as welcome as necessary as that work is. Her job is to help solve the international crisis that is driving the migration so kids aren’t sleeping i border stations at all.
