From the citation: that they likely saw higher rates of heart rhythm disturbance and signs of inflammation than in other studies because they did tests that detected mild changes in participants with no symptoms who would not ordinarily have been screened.

They also said the effects were temporary.

I'm sure if doctors looked close enough, they could find adverse reactions to almost anything. But those reactions would also be temporary and mild.

mRNA vaccines will diminish transmission. Because of the nature of COVID, nothing can totally stop transmission of a virus that becomes infectious before it becomes symptomatic.
