That restaurant is now closing…..the likely reasons are Trump supporters and other republicans stopped going there….and the destruction to the economy caused by the democrats …….

In my AO the ones that have lasted longer are the ones who serve a simple home-style breakfast, lunch, dinner.

One called Mom's has been around for 30+ years.

LOL.....We had one called Nicks Good Food Diner that operated 40+ years till Nick died.....If you left there hungry it was your own fault!

She is opening another restaurant in the same location with a different name.
This is not a super-rare thing to do. If it serves primarily the same food - then yes, she did it to try and get rid if the stigma attached.

There is only one 'regular' type restaurant left on my side of town now, and he's had to expand 3 times since he opened in an old Pizza Hut that folded 30 years ago. You would think that would inspire more of them in the area, he's jammed from 5 a.m. to closing at 10 p.m., got to wait in line, but no, it's a fast food wasteland and taqueria infestation. A couple of the taquerias are actually pretty good for the price, but no Denver or southwestern omelettes with chili or chicken fried steaks with eggs on those menus. IHOP doesn't really cut it as a choice. Waffle House is fine for some but they're just too greasy for me.

Actually it depends on the State. Some make political party a protected class.

In any event my view is the place can't deny her point of sale dining for who she is, but it can decline to host a contracted event with her.

That's the limit to me of PA laws.

They are "going to open it under a new name". As if THATS going to stop the boycott.

"Hey guys, it isnt the 'Red Hen' anymore. It is now called the "Crimson Bird', so everyone who was disgusted by me throwing Sarah out can now come back."

A radical left-wing fascist owned Restaurant, The Red Hen back in 2018 kicked Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family out of their restaurant because she is a Republican. Local support of the restaurant dropped faster than a lead weight, and they were only temporarily surviving due to radical left-wing extremist elitist support and very minimal support with a very small percentage of the few radical left locals. The support was not enough to keep these America-haters in business. They are going to try and open under a new name, the thing is, you can paint a turd pink, but it's still a turd.

So if they open under a new name, here is an idea for that name: Communist Cafe

They can title their menu "The Marxist Menu"

A breakfast idea, instead of eggs Florentine, they can have their version - Fascist Florentine
Soup idea - Socialist soup
For a pastry they can name the Napoleon to a name that is reflective of what they are - Nazipoleon
They can have their own tea blend - Tyranny Tea
Their onion rings - oppression rings
Their hamburger - the hateburger
