"After a weekend of staying mum on its last-minute decision to pull AP African American Studies from the state’s official offerings, the Arkansas Department of Education issued a statement Monday saying the course may violate the LEARNS Act, the new education law passed by the state legislature this spring. The department went on to give background on the decision, suggesting that teachers who offer this class may be breaking the law. “Arkansas law contains provisions regarding prohibited topics. Without clarity, we cannot approve a pilot that may unintentionally put a teacher at risk of violating Arkansas law,” the statement says.

Monday’s statement from the Arkansas Department of Education will certainly keep the culture war flames burning. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders‘ administration continues targeting classes and policies that honor multiculturalism and acceptance of traditionally marginalized groups. Little Rock School District Board member Ali Noland, an attorney representing public education advocates suing the state over the constitutionality of the LEARNS Act, said “This decision is a shameful and bigoted political stunt that will directly hurt our students and reinforce unfortunate stereotypes about Arkansas - Yet again, our state government is manufacturing a culture war at the expense of our students.”

This is a brilliant move by the Arkansas GOP because they are correct, forcing our children to learn about multiculturalism and the acceptance of groups that deserved to be marginalized, like Native Americans and darkies is the worst thing to happen to our children - and the more we force our children to learn they are part of a multicultural society, the weaker our nation will become. Also, for Arkansas, there are quite a few moments in its history that is best not talked about, ever...Like do you understand how traumatizing it would be for our children if we continue to teach them about how Little Rock is ground zero for school desegregation - perhaps one of the darkest days in Conservative American history - why do we want to remind children of that?

Or how, just 2 years later, in Wrightsville, Arkansas, how nearly 70 children (ages 13 to 17) were padlocked inside their school dormitory; while there was a fire raging around them; and 21 of them died while trying to claw and break their way out of the fire. As of a matter of fact, that was so bad that the state decided to not talk about it again; let alone charge anyone for any criminal negligence at the time it happened...and Arkansas officials were right to not talk about it and move on.

but with this woke-anti-American history agenda being pushed on us by uppity blacks, they were going to try to force our children to learn of this? Why do we need to remember that? It is far better to forget about it and leave it in the past. Just because of few of the survivors and their family are upset about it, who cares -- that is not something that deserves to be a part of our history. Do these libs want more and more darkies to vote for Republicans? Because once they learn it was Democrats in control back then, more blacks will vote Republican -- which is exactly why Democrats want to teach this, I mean, it's exactly why Republican's don't want to teach, I mean...its complicated.

Whites Who Are Born Rich Deplore and Fear All Other White People

The forced integration of Little Rock Central High School in 1957 was demanded by Little Rock's upper class solely because Central was a White working class high school. Of course, no school in a richkids' neighborhood ever had to go through that. So the South, even back then, was part the race-treason of Birth-Class Supremacy. There are many examples of this if you investigate the matter deeper than simple-minded superficiality.

Governor Faubus was elected by working-class voters, so he defied the heiristocrats and their class warfare posing as civil rights.

So then that would make Faubus a hero to Conservatives correct?

I think you guys should honor him more -- even campaign on the policy positions he had back then....instead of pretending that Brown v Board was the right decision and stuff - which you have thoroughly shown us, is not what Conservatives believe...

Like a Boxer's One-Two Left-Right Combo of Punches

Conservatives worship the upper class and deny its sponsorship of Civil Rights for the Uncivilized. So the divide between them and the Liberals is imaginary.

Brown v Board was decreed by Chief Justice Earl Warren, a Republican who was Tom Dewey's running mate in 1948. So Conservatives are also behind White Replacement, especially economically.

Defining yourself by this long-winded schtick is a mistake.

Maybe just say what you have to say; the act was old before you rolled it out, and it's now insufferable.

To topic, let's see where the lawsuits go.

Just looking at this picture again. I see a dignified young lady going to school surrounded by cowardly trailer trash.

Look at the face ot the woman behind her. She should be arrested just for that. Her kids obviously post on here.

Decent people shouldnt be forced to mix with that kind of trash.

The Liberal assholes have lost all credibility to discuss real American history with their obsession of destroying anything to do with the Confederacy. Sorry sonofabitches. Just like the Taliban.

I know you believe yourself the Lucretius of Sarcasm but you are wrong in 3 foundational ways.

1) It is not just between teaching or not teaching Black History one way or the other, it is about teaching the Western Tradition that rests on Israel, Rome, and Greece.

2) IT is often Blacks that are againt those courses yet you puch them to the side, showing that you are a racist.

3) No mention whatsoever of who pays for this, or the parents of those children.

So I have your number: You are a racist but probaby white and you are not FOR anything just AGAINST consumer and parent and citizen control of education.
