The forced integration of Little Rock Central High School in 1957 was demanded by Little Rock's upper class solely because Central was a White working class high school.

2. I DO remember President Eisenhower sending federal troops to enforce the court ruling. But he said something that indicated that he sided with the parents who opposed the court decision. (I shan't quote him, for it was very hurtful, and there is no use in hurting people's feelings unnecessarily.)

3. Re: Arkansas. It should allow those AP classes. If they give that group some much-needed self-pride, that would be good for all Americans.
