Republicans: Trump will lose in 2024

Sometimes, I think, what is leftover of the GOP simply does not wish to be in a position of having to take responsibility for the mess, it being much more comfortable to blame others than be responsible for it's administration, themselves. This is why that group still coddles and supports Trump's primary run, knowing American will never elect him to actively from a position of power, continue to destroy our constitution, rule of law and the mechanisms that support it.

Sadly, this will continue the destruction of that party as a viable balancing force in guiding the country in the future.
Thats really disappointing. I thought you were more sophisticated than this.

Trump wasn't blamed for anything by his followers during his presidency. This fucker promised a "miracle". Literally saying the word "miracle". No blowback. Banged a porn star while married. No blowback. Sold the idea of a stolen election in 9 states to full grown adults. No blowback. If anything; with his base (not to be confused with the GOP)...he's more popular now.

No matter how bad the performance were to be...his base will never pin any responsibility on him. And as you saw in his term as POTUS...the rest of the GOP was mute whenever he pulled all of the above.

The point about still supporting is a good one by the way. But the reasoning is silly.

Conservatives have rioted a single time in US history (Jan 6th). No one would expect a riot from them. Yes, after the fact we heard about warning signals at the FBI and whatnot, but they get warning signals for virtually every political gathering. No one expected a riot on January 6th.
You forgot Charlottesville.

Ironically similar to 2016, Biden won in 2020 because the GOP ran the only person on the planet who could not beat him; if Trump is the GOP candidate in 2024, Biden will win again.

The GOP has several fine governors who have proven paths to victory, with proven records of solid and successful conservative governance. Any of them are more than able to beat Biden. Supporting Trump over these people will only bring disaster -- Joe Biden (or whoever succeeds him) will get to pick the next 2-3 Supreme Court Justices, and the Dems will probably retake the House.
Take more than a few minutes to consider those ramifications.

You may like the guy. He has some valid points. His policy record while in office was reasonably OK. His Judicial / USSC picks have panned out.
But he’ll lose – and if you lose, none of that matters.

Just a word of warning. Time to step away.
Its starting to sink in.

The democrats are waging a campaign to demoralize voters that trump needs in order to win

And it sounds like they succeeded with you

You are saying that because a conservative group opposes mass migration of foreigners across our souther border and grooming small children to become homosexuals that makes the conservatives “white supremacists”

I disagree

Here is what they stand for in their own words:

Oh goody, another thread of libs telling us how to vote….lol

Democrats and Republicans alike said Trump had no chance in 2016. They (and I) completely underestimated the rage that's out there.

Since Biden is clearly in an age-related decline (no, that's not dementia), shit could easily go south for the Dems between now and Nov 24.

Better call your buddies to warn them….

Trump won because the progressives couldn`t bring themselves to vote for "crooked Hillary", who hasn`t been indicted for anything. Bernie`s crybabies made Treasonous Trump, president.
I could have dealt with Sanders. I see him as more truthful than either of the two current front runners.

Biden was the stopgap for Trump. It worked. And it will work again because Biden represents normal and Trump is batshit crazy and criminal.
Trump put more money in your pocket doofus. Since Biden has taken the reigns the dollar has decayed by a solid 20 percent.

Jo

Trump beat the Washington establishment at its own game in 2016

libs such as mac1958 say they want change from the duopoly but they lie

What they voted for in 2020 was biden and even more two-party rule

Trump won because he got votes in the right places. Didn’t happen in ‘20.

We all lost in 2020....or was it November 22, 1963

At this time there are a few states that may kick Trump off the ballot. It`s a slam dunk 14th amendment issue.
